Bio Photo The following memorial is for a dear child abandoned and could use TLC from visitors : Baby Girl April

I've been working on my family's "tree" for several years now and since most of my family burials are nowhere near where I live, Find A Grave has been very helpful to me. I was born in Arkansas but ended up in Texas before I turned one! Family names I am working on are: BLACK, THOMPSON, ALFORD, ELMORE, MARTIN, BOLLS, JESTER, and others. Many of these folks are in Arkansas with some being in Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana (and the occasional drifter out to CA!)

As for the photos I have taken and added to memorials, you are welcome to use them for your personal family trees, on Ancestry.com, etc. No need to ask me first.

And a BIG thank you to all the wonderful volunteers out there who claim my photo requests, inform me of problems and generally just help the whole FindaGrave community!

Transfer requested for Clifford!
I just requested that the person who manages Clifford's memorial, transfer his memorial to you.
"macso" is their name. There are only a small handful of people who have created memorials over at Pacific Crest and thankfully, everyone is willing to transfer memorials to the rightful family members.
You should get it soon. If not "Request" it on your end.
Cheers,
K. Berry

RE: Arlen Alford
You're welcome.
I hope you noticed what I wrote in the photo transcription on the 3rd image.
I put a large pine cone on his brother's grave straight up and about 3 rows up in the image. I did the same for Clifford. It should give you an idea of lay of the land and how close they are to one another. You may need to click on the image to see it clearly.
These two men are part of your family. I'm going to transfer them to you. They should be with family.
Have a great research day.

Thanks for pointing out the additional information.
He was my best friend, and his sister was my brother's wife.
When his site was transferred to me I was so happy that I forgot to look more closely at it.

To get to the cemetery from
St. Nicholas Church, 7809
Weeks Island Road, go south
to Patoutville Road
(Louisiana 85) and turn left;
continue for three miles; turn
right onto Patout Road
(Louisiana 673); continue for
about half a mile. Look for a
clearing and historical marker
on the left. This is the former
site of St. Nicholas
Church in the community of
Patoutville. The cemetery is
towad the rear and to the left,
behind a red brick building.
Call 577-3524 for directions if
you get lost. Note that distances
are approximate.

RE: Edgar Toups
I notice a few pictures placed on his memorial site. Somebody might have already repaired the grave but you can call Ms. Julaine and find out for sure. With that said,

I went to the site for claims and repairs and nobody has claimed or repaired his grave.

God Bless you for your concern.

RE: Thanks!
Is Curtis Langley related to you? His grandfather Christopher Columbus Langley was the brother of my husband's great great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Langley.
