I absolutely love genealogy! My family tree has been an ongoing project for as long as|
I can remember. Along with the love I have for my own family, I've grown to love all those that I have come across in the search for my loved ones.
The majority of the memorials I create or manage are members of my family. But, I do create memorials and update those that already exist for anyone that I come across in my research. Every memorial needs to tell a story of the person and most of all, they need to be linked to those that loved them.
I create my memorials as neatly and as complete as possible, even doing extra research to fill in the blanks.
If I have a photo of my ancestor, I will add it. If you choose to copy my photo, please do so because they are your ancestor too and you love them as much as I do.
FAMILY TIES: Wells, Pedigo, Petzold, Schoult, Beiriger, Price, Laswell, Block, Preuss, Myszka, Hains, Graves, Cowan, McDaniel, Burgard, Cahill, Harrington, Euneau, Herr, Johndraw, Beth, Lisenbee and more.....

Thank you for sending the note about her middle name. I have changed it to Marie and included your comments with your member number as a note on her memorial.

Graceland stated that he is not buried there. He was cremated there on 11/15/1930 and given to family members who interred him at Forest Home because of the proximity to their home.
The cemetery further stated that;
"On a death record, the place of cremation is listed under place of burial which is confusing for those looking for the place of burial."
Hope this clears up the issue for you.

I have a headstone photo for W. Gray Brown (1848 - 1930) and his 2nd wife Lottie Manuel Brown (1874-1942).
They are both on the headstone at Forest Home. It may be that he was originally at Graceland and Lottie or children may have had him moved. I am sending an email to Graceland to verify. In the meantime, I will post the headstone to Lottie's memorial.

I did delete my memorial for Charles F. Hains, Jr., but Find A Grave rules state that a memorial page with a "correct" cemetery of interment takes precedence over a memorial page that merely lists "Unknown" which this lady's did even though her creation date was earlier. I always check for duplicates in a cemetery before adding a new interment which is how my memorial for Charles got created. In any event, since you got the lady to transfer to you and you already made the change to the correct cemetery, I added the photo I took of Charles' grave marker to your page and also listed at the bottom of the photo (if you click on the photo) the proper location within the cemetery where Charles' marker may be found as well as the GPS location. Please add those to the proper area on the front of Charles' memorial page so that others may locate it if they so choose.

Hi, I see you added a remembrance to John's memorial #32995861. I am researching the men who died in his Co C 1-8 Jumping Mustangs in Vietnam. Looking for a high school photo or family to contact. If you know anything that could help please advise. The Vietnam Wall of Faces is looking for photos of all men who died, if you know anyone you could help by adding their photo to that site.
Best Regards, Sue Rice

Happy 4th of July Judy,
About a year ago I contacted you regarding my connection to the Kiely family. My mother was the daughter of Mabel Bruner who is sister of Doris Bruner Kiely. I remember my mother telling us about her cousin Margaret. My mother is now deceased and I have been trying to find out more information about the Bruner side of the family. I would appreciate if you could please contact me. I recall that your husband knew John Kiely? I look forward to hearing from you.
My email is email@example.com.

Judy, I am only finding the one memorial for her in the Brookfield area. I hate to delete the only one there. If you want me to, I guess I can, but when I click on the Brookfield area for Davenport's I get hers and John Austin. Any clues on how to proceed with this request of yours? I would be glad to delete any duplicate, if I see that there is another to fill the gap.

Thanks for leaving the notion my Uncle Chuck's (Charles T Pearl, Jr) memorial. Scanned through your relations and I gather the link is the Pedigo family. My grandfather (Chas. T. Pearl, Sr.) often mentioned them as I believe 'elders' to his generation (born 1900). It is a small world!
