|Bio and Links|
I absolutely love genealogy! My family tree has been an ongoing project for years. I love FAG and appreciate how it helps families find their loved ones. I believe each memorial needs to tell a story and be linked to their loved ones. I do more updating of memorials than creating them and do extra research to make them complete.|
The memorials I create, update and maintain are out of my love of genealogy and the desire for families to find their loved ones. Numbers mean nothing to me but the quality of the memorial does. If one of the memorials I manage is your relative, I would be honored to transfer it to you, unless they are my family too. Memorials are to honor the person that has passed away and remind us that they lived and were loved.
If I have enough information for a BIO, I will add it. I will add very old obituaries but never recent ones. So, PLEASE do not post an obituary or death certificate as a photo.
All updates and BIO's that I add are always backed up by multiple sources and records. That doesn't mean that an error can't happen now and then, so please let me know if you find one.

I appreciate the updated info. Thank you!
|Steve Moray||RE: James Edmond Korn Profile|
Thanks for the quick reply. I imagined it might have been an obituary. I was only 12 when he died, so I don't remember who gave the information for his obit, but I have a feeling there was a misunderstanding with the informant about his role at the Pearl Harbor Naval Yard. I would greatly appreciate a copy of his obituary, thank you for offering. :) My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
|Steve Moray||James Edmond Korn Profile|
My name is Steve Moray, James Korn is my grandfather. I am writing because I am concerned that you may either have some misinformation, or I have missed some very critical information in my research. James was indeed the son of Aloysius Kornaszewski and Rose Bach, and he was a tile setter that retired to Kansas City from Chicago. All that information is correct. However, I am not aware of his involvement in the Naval Reserve, nor being a veteran of WWII (at least, not militarily). As far as I know, James was a civilian laborer at the Pearl Harbor naval base, and he spent the entire war there with his new wife Harriet (my grandmother). My aunt Kathy was born there on D-Day. I have no records or family stories of him joining the military. If you could share your sources with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

I just uploaded photos for Henry and Estelle Hains.
These Headstones have heavy hard water deposits. They can actually be cleaned with a pumice stone, which will not hurt the granite. I ran out of pumice stone or else I would have cleaned them for you. If I get a chance in the future I'll stop by and try and redo these.

A while back you had a photo request for John Henry Hains. When I checked at the cemetery office, they had no record of him for whatever reason. But later I checked for Marie Theresa Hains and I found her together with John. Photos have been uploaded for both memorials.

I'm new at researching genealogies - only have been on about a week. LO Webb was my grandfather - my father was Glenn Emil Webb. I noticed that in your messages with someone named Tim that you refer to some articles on LO. Is there any way that you could share them with me as well? I'm not sure what I need to do to make that possible. I know after His marriage to Emilie, LO was married to Alice and then to someone named Mabel as well after Alice died. I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks

|Charles W Maxwell Jr||Transfer Request|
Katie Mabel Wallace Maxwell was my grandmother. I'd like her memorial transferred to me. I'm upgrading all Maxwell memorials back to my great-grandfather William James Maxwell. See my photo restoration work on Find A Grave # 134336856. Once the upgrading is complete I'll transfer the maintenance to one of my children (I'm almost 79). My father was Charles W. Maxwell, Sr. (Find A Grave # 116738012) Katie's 2nd child. Helen Frances Maxwell Bolton's link is the only Children link on Katie's memorial. Her 5-sons are to be added. I understand the process as well as the use of the scripting language Find A Grave uses to create clickable links for a spouse or child.
I appreciate your consideration in this matter.
Charles W. Maxwell, Jr. Find A Grave # 47579586.
Floyd Lanny Martin helped me transfer other Maxwell memorials which I greatly appreciate as well.
