I am intrigued with researching my ancestors and enjoy helping others with their research as well. |
I grew up in California and Arizona and moved to northwestern Arkansas in 1984. When I began researching, I was very surprised to learn my grandfather (whom I had never met) was born in Washington County, Arkansas, and then moved to the Oklahoma City area. From then on I was hooked on genealogy research.

Buried in Section 7, Block 26, Lot 11, Space 4, Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale, AZ.

"Newt" Lesley was my great grandfather. He died 20 years before I was born. I looked at his Certificate of Death and it looks like it was " Dec. 28th" but it could be "Dec. 25th". I will check with his only living daughter who is my great aunt and see if she knows. She was only 4 years old when he died. Are you related?

Did you see, she was buried next to her parents? I added their photo also.

I transferred Levi and his wife Mehitable Mooers Cass to you. This cemetery is next to my cousins camp in Vienna,Maine. Glad to help contribute, and give back to other members.

Thanks for the birth date for Levi Cass- I updated the memorial. If this a relative I can transfer to you. I was visiting the area and added a few memorials for older stones that I found.

Thank you for the information.
|wayne||Joseph Marion Thompson|
Hello. I'm wondering if you could identify any other Thompsons living near Joseph around 1900.
Within a couple of miles of each other (in or near North Wichita Township) were Arabelle E. Thompson, George W. Thompson (1829-1913), and Carolyn "Carrie" Thompson (1860-1908). I'm guessing that some of them are related, but I don't know how. Do you?
George W. and Arabella homesteaded together, so clearly they are kin.

I don't know about this marriage, but she is on his headstone. They could have married anywhere, including Mexico, etc. I wish I could help you, but I did as much "tracking" as I could and did not find the info you needed.
