Yes I remember chatting with you. Samuel was my great grandfather and Issac his brother.
It is amazing that I was able to Get James military record from 1847 that was proof he was in the mexican war and died there in Mexico. I believe I have a phone of that record on his memorial at find a grave.

Yes! I have the disk from the City Of Rich Hill that I got in November of 2014 and they show that the last name on the funeral record for her mother is "La Grippe."
This should help to solve your mystery.
Happy New Year!

I went ahead a took off the one, I don't know who sent that to me. I did send a message to the lady that posted the second memorial but she only has 33 memorial in 8 years so I don't know if she will delete it or not.

Thank you. It was interesting doing the research. I learned a lot about old records by doing it. I am a founding member of the Georgia Flat Cemetery Association. It was formed a few years ago when Reece Buffer's girls were asking for help clean up the cemetery. They had ask a neighbor lady, Nancy Feroe to help them form an Association. For reason of their own the girls are no longer members but since the association was formed a lot of work has went into it. Nancy is actually a historian in her own rights. She is into a lot of things dealing with the history of Benton County and she had a lot of the information she taught me how to dig up the rest. It has been interesting and fun to do.
