Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am intrigued with researching my ancestors and enjoy helping others with their research as well. I grew up in California and Arizona and moved to northwestern Arkansas in 1984. When I began researching, I was very surprised to learn my grandfather (whom I had never met) was born in Washington County, Arkansas, and then moved to the Oklahoma City area. From then on I was hooked on genealogy research.

Since you had a photo of Nina, can you validate that her maiden name was spelled Cooley.

I sent an edit to the manager of her memorial; however, I wasn't sure that the transcription of the spelling of her maiden name was correct as I could clearly see her first name as Nina and they transcribed it Mina.

Appreciate any assistance in maintaining accuracy of memorials.

thanks

Yes I remember chatting with you. Samuel was my great grandfather and Issac his brother.

It is amazing that I was able to Get James military record from 1847 that was proof he was in the mexican war and died there in Mexico. I believe I have a phone of that record on his memorial at find a grave.

Yes! I have the disk from the City Of Rich Hill that I got in November of 2014 and they show that the last name on the funeral record for her mother is "La Grippe."
This should help to solve your mystery.
Happy New Year!
