Bio

I began an interest in my 100% German lineage when it was rumored that there was some French in my ancestry. So far I have yet to find a direct ancestor with anything other than a German background although I believe I have found a distant relative who's sibling married a woman with a french sounding name... perhaps that is where it began... I am now researching branches further out and found Find A Grave... I would like help in continuing my search so I am volunteering so that I can help others. :)

In search of family originally from Germany / Luxembourg and then Dubuque, Iowa area.
