Although I have been a member of Find A Grave for about five years, I have primarily used it for researching my family members.
With my mother just passing away this past November, it has renewed my interest in connecting the dots between the generations of my ancestors.
I am particularly interested in my paternal grandfather's family --- Reynerson.
My great-grandfather's mother died while a young child and he went to live with his mother's married sister whose husband's last name was Nelson. He, along with my grandfather, were somewhat inconsistent and used both the surnames.
I am also interested in my maternal grandmother's family --- Adams, and my father's family --- Manion.
I live in the Memphis area, but have made many trips back to both Vermilion County, Illinois and Vermilion County, Indiana to visit the cemeteries of my ancestors. I plan to go back again in late spring and will check at that time to see if there are any photo requests that I may be able to fulfill.
I want to become a volunteer for photo requests in my area as well --- as time will permit.
