Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born & raised in NJ, Moved to Indiana when married 1976. 2 adult children, one married. LPN 1976 til 2004.
1st g'child (boy) was born the 1st wk of Jan. 2016. This has greatly reduced my time taking pics at cem's & working with records on findagrave. Taking pics at Maple Grove when I'm there changing family flowers. Been taking some pics at Park Lawn again. Updated 7/2016.
ANCESTRY.COM trees: SCHAUSS, TRAUTVETTER (includes: LIBBERT, CASTLE, INGRAM, ANGEL, SPLITTORF for ex. Both trees are linked by LIBBERT family), biological EMMONS (includes GREAVES), adoptive SWAN/FREEMAN (FREIERMUTH), sister's in-law's family: HERBERT
MY GRAVE STONE PICTURES ARE DONATIONS TO THE WEB SITE. Please put Source for anyone's pic that is copied from findagrave. Ex: Photo Source: & can add mem pg # - SEE FINDAGRAVE Q & A's.

PORTRAITS - Request to not copy these pics. Can attach pics to ancestry trees using my pics from my trees - on This keeps the owner (me) attached to the pic.
Pic's taken at cem's below. Entire Cem's done
Also have provided copies of my pics for member Lynn's Spencer County Cem Project on GenWeb.
-- Spencer County, IN
WRIGHT (Huff Twp, not Maxwell)
--- Warrick County
ANGEL (Angel Mounds)
BELL (African American)
ZOAR WARRICK (Trautvetter family stones)
--- Vanderburgh County -
PARK LAWN - ongoing since 2013 -
Started out taking pics of & recording all the names on the walls of the Mausoleum bldgs. Then would ck mem pgs in alphab. order & make list of pgs without pics. Have taken pics of some entire sections. Lately can only take a few pics at a time vs how I used to spend hrs at a time at cemeteries. (Updated 6-2016)
Messages: I appreciate & enjoy reading all the kind words. But I delete them on occ. So I want to let members know that I do accept messages.

"Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission."

"Do not copy and post photographs from obituary or funeral home websites (unless you personally are the photographer), as they are protected by copyright law." (New wording, same rule, found 7/31/2016)

Discovered another reason for not posting pics that we didn't take. Whenever an obit pic is added it records as "PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN" ON OUR PROFILE. So for the members who do this a lot, their "Photos taken" is showing way more pics than they actually took. Gives me another reason to not copy & post the portraits from the grave stones any more. Another reason is since members copy other people's pics for their ancestry trees & don't add the source as they should per findagrave copyright policy.
My (non family) pics of grave stones are posted for public use but NOT the family portraits. They can be added to your trees from my trees on Do NOT copy from findagrave. I've found on ancestry without source of pic. -- Thanks.

I was unable to link spouse as per edit tab. I did not intentionally cost you time. I prefer you not to leave messages on my wall as i miss some. Again use edit tab or my email on my profile.

RE: Abraham Hornback / Hornbeck
Bless you for asking Donna. I tend to like it the way it is spelled on the headstone. It is spelled both ways on several different documents but as you know it was spelled with double e on the court document for Warner Hoorenbeeck per Find a Grave info.

There is another Abraham Hornback with info at this website:

The Alkire and Harness families appear to be in both branches. I am trying to figure out all the connections now.

Thank you again for reaching out.
All the best, Andrea Poynter McDaniel

Infram memorial
You asked "Do you know what the last word is on his military marker?" I assume you are referring to the "POW" which denotes Prisoner of War.

I have quite a bit of information on him, if you are interested please write me directly at
