John Garwood
Thank you for the information. Yes, Ann Rea, a daughter of my 4th g Grandfather, Robert Rea, married a William Branson in 1784. They had 7 children and he died in VA in 1809. She went with her family to Ohio and married John Garwood in 1818. He died a year later. She probably remarried but that is where she goes off the grid. I think I need to back track to the Branson side of the family and maybe someone will know what happened to her after that. If you hadn't contacted me, I wouldn't have thought of that.

Thank you so much

I have deleted his memorial, I didn't realize mine was a duplicate. Elvis is a 1/2 first cousin. The other Memorial has his middle name spelled incorrectly. Thanks

Eyzlle vs Ezell
Hello Donna,

I am sooooo glad that you contacted me again about this Eyzlle vs Ezell surname spelling. I am in a real dither with other research recently and unfortunately I evidently had neglected to follow through with the surname change previously. Thank you so, so very much!!!
I believe I have FINALLY identified my paternal ancestor, who was in fact the great grandfather of this Mary Anne Mackey-Ezell. I believe he was Sgt. William Mc Kee (our surname went to Mc Key and then Mackey) of the Volunteer Kentucky Mounted Militia which served as reinforcements for Gen. "Mad" Anthony Wayne during the Battle of Fallen Timbers in 1794. I believe he did in battle or soon afterwards. All of the puzzle pieces are certainly a very comfortable fit, but I still lack any actual verification. So exciting to feel like I am finally on the right track though.

Thank you so much,

RE: PS Greaves
Hi Donna,

It took me quite a while to find the Greaves. I had them down as being in Block 16. I walked it a couple of times and couldn't find them. Finally I decided to look in Block 15 instead and there they were! Guess I made an error when I wrote it down.

I think it's great to work on family trees with other family members! It brings good insight that one might not otherwise have. I use the MyHeritage tree myself as Ancestry is beyond what I can afford. That's one of the reason's I like Find A Grave - it's free for all. Hope it stays that way!

Enjoy the weekend!

Nancy R. Hatfield TS
Dear Donna,
Thanks so much for posting the photo of Nancy Render Hatfield and Elijah Hatfield's tombstone on Find a Grave. Nancy is half sister to my GGG Grandfather, Jessie Ward, both children of Edward Browning Ward, but by different wives. May I use your photo, with
full credit to you & Find a Grave in my book on the descendants
of Neddie Browning Ward, their father. I'm hoping to use one relevant photo for each of his children and yours is the best I've found of Nancy.
