Bio and Links
Bio Photo My fascination with cemeteries began when I was on active duty in the United States Army. I'm a trumpet player and served as an Army Bandsman for twenty years. During that time I performed Taps at military funerals on more occasions than I can remember.

While waiting for the funeral procession to arrive I would spend as much time as possible walking through the cemetery reading tombstones. It proved to be a very interesting way to pass the time. Now that I'm a member of the Find A Grave community I can put that interest to good use.

I've either created or manage all memorials for my immediate family, so my focus at this point is creating memorials for others and fulfilling as many local photo requests as possible.

Andrew Martinis
Hi Bill-

There is no marker yet for Andrew. I will load a picture of the grave site however, and will take a pic of the marker when it arrives. I am at the cemetery weekly, so won't be a problem to watch for the marker! He is buried in a very nice section of the cemetery, in Block 5.

Hi there-

do you know if he has a marker yet? Since he just died, it may be a few months before he has a marker. Let me know if you know when about the marker may be placed. I will keep an eye open for it, and will check with the cemetery office.

RE: Albert Smith
From what I found on the index for the "Alabama Deaths, 1908-1974" it has his name as Albert Golie Smith.

Thanks for looking for Albert and Cassie, and for taking photos of the other Spears. That was above and beyond, and was very kind of you. All the Spears there are all related.

Valerie Allen
Dear Sir,

Thank you so much for creating a memorial for Valerie Pamela Allen. I was a friend of hers for several years and have not been able to locate her final resting place or next of kin.
