Bio and Links
Bio Photo a big love for genealogy, and helping others. Researching my family history: Augustine, Lawrence, Winn, Jones, several lines which has become very confusing to me as there are several different Jones/Davies/Augustine family lines, Malone, Zastoupil, Small/Schmahl, Fazenbaker, Kalanek, Tuma and lots more family names that goes along these great family members!!

I'm hoping to find other family members who are doing genealogy to learn our family history. It's something I have been interested and doing for years and lots of brick walls that I would love to solve. Would love to find my family heritage, and research how they were/lived. Love history!!

I live in the Sacramento area.

RE: Delant Lawrence Find A Grave Memorial# 113801010
The name Delant came from census records. I will gladly delete so you can add the correct memorial. My Grandfather was AA Elliott, married to Maud.

RE: Ida Mae Jones (Davis) Find A Grave Memorial# 95118349
I don't know much of anything about the Davis line. William, husband of Amy, did not appear to ever live in Calaveras Co. He died in Oakland in May of 1902 according to a small obit in the local paper that year. William and Amy's son William W. Davis was born in Indiana in 1847 so they must have lived there at some time. His sister Luella Forrester was born in Murphys in 1857.
Amy's other husband Andrew Jackson is also someone that I know nothing about. An Andrew Jackson died in the Calaveras Co. hospital in 1913 at the age of 87 but Amy's obit in 1905 stated she was a widow so he many not have been her 2nd husband.
I only did the research on them when I saw the little grave marker with Amy Jackson on it and wanted to know why she was in that plot.
James Jones has a fairly distinct family line from Joshua Jones and Catherine Parks. Ida married James on 9/30/1881. Some of her children Josh, Clarence James, John, Hazel, Lawrence. They had a total of 22 children of which 6 survived.

RE: Ida Mae Jones (Davis) Find A Grave Memorial# 95118349
Kimmie: I am glad you were able to use the info in Ida Mae's memorial. On the rest of the family, maybe this will help you. Let me know if you have any questions that I might be able to answer:
Amy Biehl was born in IN on Feb 6, 1830 and died Nov 26, 1905 in Murphys. Her parents were Sarah Snell and Walter Biehl (sometime spelled Beal).
Her 1st husband was William I. Davis who she married 8/28/1847 in Vanderburg, IN and who died in 1902. 2nd husband Andrew Jackson. Mother of Luella Davis (Mrs. James) Forrestor, Ida Davis (Mrs. James) Jones, Clara Davis (Mrs. Anthony) Martell, Florence Davis McLaurin, Fenton, Thomas, William W. and George Davis and Alice Jackson (Mrs. Joseph) Wiley who appears to be the only child Amy had with Andrew Jackson. Both Thomas and William W. preceded their mother in death.
All the children except Thomas and Alice Jackson Wiley are buried in Buena Vista Cemetery, Murphys, CA and I don't know where they are buried.
Alice had a son named Willie Merrill Wiley, born in CA and died Feb 21, 1897 in Murphys, CA. at the age of 17 months, 7 days. Burial place not named but you would think the baby was buried in Murphys or somewhere close by. Alice, daughter of Andrew & Amy Jackson, is in the 1900 census in Murphys with husband Joseph Wiley and children William Wiley age 5 mo, and Andrew age 6 and Amy age 5 both with last name of Miller and who were children from Alice's first marriage. This 2nd William Wiley gave his DOB as 7/3/1896, which would have been the birth date of the dead baby brother, and gave his middle name as Merrill on 6/5/1918 when he signed up for WW I, maybe because he would not have been quite 18 at the time so used his dead baby brothers DOB instead of his own to appear older so he could sign up for the draft.

RE: Zastoupil Family
Ok.. So Im a little confused once you bring in the Malone name. I do not know of that name. HOWEVER, we are related. You said you are related to John Joseph Zastoupil and Mary Anna Tuma?? Well... John Joseph Zastoupil had a brother Frank J. Zastoupil. Frank is MY 2x great grandfather. Frank married Agnes Ficek and had a daughter Mary Agnes Zastoupil. She married James Frank Samek and had my grandfather Wensel J. Samek.
If you would like, my email is Feel free to email me as we can trade information. I have the ENTIRE tree (just about!) on the Ancestry app on my phone.
