Bill Gaither

Hello Linda, just a friendly note to let you know that you have entered Bill Gaither's memorials on Find a Grave in a duplicate cemetery; which should to be rectified. Someone without doing a search duplicated Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Hillcrest Memorial Park has been on find a grave for many years with over 5,900 memorials. You can clink on the cemetery name below and it will take you to the accurate Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Bakersfield, Kern County, California. You also might want to check your memorial to make sure it is not a duplicate.

I will also contact the administrator of Find A Grave to have the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery duplicate remove.

I have deleted the listing I started so there will not be a duplicate.

He is listed in a book of Bryan County Cemetery records as being buried at Sulphur Springs Cemetery which is mostly composed of Indian graves. I have been adding some of names on findagrave and found you have already listed him.
Sulphur Springs Cemetery is south of Bennington.

A lady contacted me recently and said she intends to photograph the existing graves there when she can get to it.

RE: Compton
All I have is that Wayne Compton born in Kentucky about 1936 died about 1965 in Orting, Pierce Co., Washington. Possibly his father is named Howard and his mother Merna.?. and Daniel Wayne Compton Sr. and Jr. both born in Washington State.

Compton
Hi Linda, I am researching a Compton family line for my fiance'. And I have run into a bit of a dead end with family info due to the fact that his grandfather died when his father was only 7 yrs old and mom re married. The people that I do have info on is Wayne Compton (grandfather, no middle name) he died in about 1965 at the age of about 27-29 yrs old. His son Daniel Wayne Compton Sr. born in 1958 and his son Daniel Wayne Compton Jr. born 1982. That is the end no more Compton descendants will be from this tree. There is 2 other children of Wayne Compton
(1. Michael B. Compton born 1961)
(2. Lauralee (Compton)Blue)
Wayne Compton was married to Dormalee Ann (Steil-Simpson) 1st Compton- 2nd Koehler died 2011)
If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for all the info you have sent me on the Vasquez family located in the Tuscola Cemetery. I have made corrections, added links and info. If I can help any other way do not hesitate contacting me. I like to add every bit of info I can get my hands on to each memorial. It takes more time, but this adding the name & nothing else so the STATS will go up on the profile of the person adding the memorial is for the birds, to me it is not what Find A Grave is all about. So many people use this site for geneology purposes.
Again, thanks.

Hello and welcome to Find A Grave. I think all of the links that you wanted completed. As for your other questions: the City of Lubbock Cemetery has absorbed and taken over several cemeteries over the years and the "Mexican" was one of these. It's all under the banner of The City of Lubbock Cemetery. If Santos Urive is buried there, it may be unmarked. Check with the office to find out. However, some of the old records for this section may be spotty. Let me know if I can be of any help.
