Bio

Hello,
I have been researching my ancestry for years. I have found Findagrave to be so helpful in the "final chapter" on that person I am looking for. My goal here is to help as I can when I can.
From time to time I do find some errors -- dates, names, and/or poor quality photos on existing Findagrave profiles. I do update them by sending in requests for corrections and taking a more clearly focused updated photo. I do not mean any harm as some people are sensitive to corrections. My stance is simple on this -- if there are errors it makes it more difficult for the searcher to find their person of interest. I have from my own experience have found it much more difficult to find that person because of errors.
Thankfully I have no fear of cemeteries (except for at night time -- as I was warned from my Scottish grandmother)! I have learned from my ancestral research I have a few women who tended to cemeteries as it was part of their culture to take care of their ancestors before them. We must take care of our ancestors headstones and resting places so they are not forgotten.
**I will do my best to fulfill my claim requests. If there is NO headstone available I always do my best to find a photo and upload that to give the Findagrave profile some life. Please do keep in mind that I work full time, have a wonderful husband and a relationship I hold first in my life, and a few dogs, chickens, and cows we tend to. I am busy as heck, however, I do sign on regularly to see if there is anything I can do to help someone out. I go down the list for my area or my area of travel and I do try and help.
Thank you for reading,
