I live in the Indianapolis IN area and have always found cemeteries fascinating. I think I "inherited" the trait from my Mom who also found a quiet beauty in the serenity. I became a volunteer over 5 years ago when my own genealogy research brought me to this site to request photos for my own descendants. I decided to pay it forward and have taken over 1900 volunteer photos to date.

In addition to helping fill requests, I am also interested in my own ancestry and constantly have my eye out for Custer, Kuester, Kester, Cuesters surnames from my father's side and Peterson, Cooper from my mother's.
