"We don't "own" the memorials we manage - they are not ours. We may create them, we may update them, we may transfer them to others - we are but stewards. They are Find A Grave memorials of human beings, departed. They are not "friends" on a social media network website to be collected like baseball trading cards. And there's no prize for the one who dies with the most.

The reward (for me) comes from maintaining the most accurate and dignified memorials I can. What we record becomes history, and a record in someone else's family tree. We have a responsibility to do a good job of it. It's a privilege and honor." -- Jeff Gonyea

I will be more than happy to facilitate any edits necessary to ensure accuracy if you are able to provide information that will verify your request. If you cannot provide information to verify the edit, I must decline the edit until such information / documentation / source is provided.

I have been researching my family history since 1975 and have always had a love for family stories and old cemeteries. I have been active in several genealogical groups, several family history groups on Facebook, and also volunteer with Find A Grave.

I would be happy to transfer my non-family members to you to manage their memorials if you send me your Find A Grave #, the # of your family member, and your direct relationship to the individual you are referencing.

Thank You!
