I research family names of Bender - ancestors and descendants of Charles (Karl Ludwig) Bender from the area of Darmstadt Germany who eventually settled in Humble, Texas and then in Houston, Tx. I also research the Halm family who immigrated to the New Braunfels, Tx area from Germany in the 1840's, the Townsen clan from Lampasas, Tx as well as Davis family from North Carolina, and my Rembert family and descendants from Charleston, SC, my husband's family,Stuart from Michigan, and his mother's side, the Pardoe family still in England.
