I became interested in my family history in the 90's, but I was working full time and never found the time to do the research needed on the family. I retired in 2007. My father passed away in 2008,I regret that I didn't really start my search before his passing. However, Mother is still alive and she has been very helpful. Lucky for me, Grandmother kept records of birth, death and marriage dates starting with her father and mother until her death in 1992. I got serious in my family history when my great nephew came to me for knowledge on Thanksgiving 2011, and I didn't have the answers.

Many of my past family members lived in or around Genesee, Washtenaw, Monroe, Wayne, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties in Michigan. They relocated here from Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut.
I have been fortunate to meet others over the internet that have helped me to connect family members or give me great stories about my ancestors. Just maybe by doing this I will find some of your relatives, or possibly some of my own, in the search for others.
