Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've entered the genealogy dig many years behind so many, which has made it easier on me due to the dedicated efforts of those interested in recording this type of history.
Someone introduced me to this site when a high school classmate passed, and because I have lost several immediate family members in the last few years, it seemed important to help in entering and/or updating as many "kith and kin" as feasible.
The passing of close family members made me realize how precious and important it is to have them remembered, including photographic records of memorials marking their final resting places. So many markers have been damaged, which makes it a pressing matter to get the images recorded. This site is a great place to do just that.

When I make mistakes (I know I have made many), please let me know. I will help in any way to get them cleared up.

Sophia Walker
Her data matches what I have except I knew she was buried at New Market, but not which cemetery. I visited there with my late husband before he passed away. I have asked to link her to her parents. We will see what happens. It's because you do not show your email that this happens. Do you mind sharing it, as I do not like this because you have to paste in the old message. Thanks and keep in touch. Mary

I believe I did use the edit feature to make my request. If I didn't, forgive me, because I know better.

I thank you greatly for finding Joseph's father's memorial. I couldn't find it, so I had no memorial# to provide.

I think I found one for his mother, Sophia, but because I'm not 100% sure, I didn't provide a memorial# (but added it below).
Sophia was a RICE (my family), and married T.M. Walker when she was very young. Her birth year is in question, but 1830 makes very good sense.
This is the "Sophia Walker" I am thinking is Joseph Walker's mother - Memorial# 75686194, Rice Cemetery, New Market, AL.

Thank you for leaving me a note. I appreciate your dedication to keeping the requests in order and answered.
Blessings,
Mona

findagrave Joseph Walker
I have tied him to father Toylous Mack Walker, but don't know where the wife is buried. Next time, please provide the link # as I often get as many as 10 corrections a day as I have entered many entries on findagrave. Thanks. Also I prefer that you click on the edit rather than use this site. I find it awkward and time consuming. Mary

Mona,
I don't know for sure if Milton has a wife buried next to him, I have no record of it. But Mr. Ridley would have made a memorial if there was a birth and death date for a wife. He is very good about documenting, sometimes he will notify me or make the memorial himself. So I would say, no there isn't.
