I'm a retired Navy Master Chief with 22 years on active duty. After doing the nation's work for nearly a quarter century I returned home to southern Louisiana with my two young sons. When I'm not cooking cajun food for my kids, I spend some of my spare time researching genealogy.|
My preference is to roam local and family cemeteries when I have time or opportunity; adding photographs to memorials that do not have one, and creating memorials for those not represented. I never intended to build a large number of memorials that I am responsible for and will be happy to transfer according to community guidelines. With that said, I am also happy to continue managing a profile for family members too.
Under the EDIT key: You can suggest a correction or provide additional information for any entry that I have made. I'm happy to add additional stories or obituaries and link family members.
Note: I hereby expressly grant permission to freely reuse photos of gravesites and grave markers that I have taken and uploaded to this website. They are your family members and I will not impose any kind of silly copyright on them. Attributing credit to me on those photo copies is appreciated.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply & info!
I really appreciate your time. And, that would be absolutely wonderful if perhaps I might be transferred his memorial.
Again, thanks so much!!

You are the contributor of the above mentioned memorial for Lawrence Franklin Corbitt. On the memorial, you included his obit. I noticed that the part of the obit that mentions his birthdate and his parents was not listed, perhaps it was not in the original obit? But, on a slim chance, I was wondering if maybe you still had the obit saved, if it might mention who his parents were? (I've searched for several years and can't find anything, so thought I might ask).
Thanks so much for your contributions and your time and consideration!
I was wondering if you would mind transferring the Memorials of Gordy William Johnston #123638982 and Eleanor Ada Womack Johnston # 123637719 to me. I would like to link them to their other family members up in Franklin Parish.

Just wondering if you ever sent me an email, I haven't received it hope I didn't miss it in the spam box or something... I got some photo request filled for Frank, Hardy and Ester Verlin Long and thought I'd say Hi!

Hi! I just wanted to say THANK YOU for putting up his memorial & taking the pic of his headstone! THANK YOU for your service as well!!
Blessings to you & yours!
Absolutely, my email is on my profile. My Grandfather was Jessie Long, Hardy's brother. I never had the opportunity to be around any of his family growing up so only know what I remember him talking about (I wish I would have paid more attention when I was younger) I have a tree on ancestry, not sure ALL the info is correct but I'm working on it. I just uploaded more pictures of them to the tree. I even found one of Kenneth and Dianne as kids. Please stay in touch, I have been trying to find where Jessie Frank and Gracie are buried but no luck. I know where the bodies were sent but no ideal on which cemetery...I have been thinking about making a trip to LA this summer just to look.
Just wanted to tell you "YOU ROCK", serving our country and still Helping us find relatives. Hardy Long was my Grandfathers brother, Ive been searching for his families burials for a while and am thrilled you did these with the obits. It revealed children I didn't know existed, hopefully I can piece together where Hardy and my Grandfathers parents are buried. Funeral home and cemetery records are lacking in LA. but maybe with these names I can be in touch with some relatives that may know, Thanks again!

Thank Kent. You are a gentleman.
Thank you for your part in protecting our freedom. Sometimes we forget how fragile our freedom is and how costly. I often visit Memorial #88199194 to remind myself of the cost.
