|While browsing this site one day, I came upon not only memorials created but pictures of my parents and siblings gravestones. I will be forever grateful to the people that took the time to set these up. Well, one thing leads to another and I have since located many other family memorials. |
If I have created a memorial for your relative, please contact me and I will be happy to transfer it to you as those angels did for me. Just be kind enough to let me know the relationship no matter how distant.
I welcome any corrections. TO AVOID ANY ERRORS ON MY PART, PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON TO REQUEST TRANSFERS OF EDITS.
My ancestors are Hobbs, Williamson, Dike, Sides, Stinger, Mayfield, Easley and Hughey.

There must have been an error as I don't have any idea what I would have suggested to change on this one.

Cheryl, I just sent a suggestion for your Find A Grave Memorial# 111610469
I have done some more work and now believe that her parents are:
Father: Find A Grave Memorial# 35775450
Mother: Find A Grave Memorial# 35775459
She and the other are first cousin, about same DOB
but the d/o Sarah Ophelia BURCKHALTER and David Felix Goldman is:
Minnie Opelia Goldman (b. 2/13/1887 Aiken SC, d. 2/5/1948 Aiken SC)
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cheryl, I'm glad to see that you've already been n touch with Stanley, I couldn't help him, but told him perhaps you might.. Unfortunately when I spoke to him, I couldn't remember your name 😙 so I had to go to Find A Grave which of course showed me ya'll had already been in touch!

My great-great-grandfather was Michael Sims (buried at Tidmore) I think his second wife was Cynthia Williamson. She and her three sons came to Texas with most of Michael's Family. Do you know what Cynthia's maiden name? Do you know the father's name of the Williamson boys.
My great-grandmother was Martha Jane Sims Cox buried at Tidmore.
Thanks for the help,
Stanley L. Hobbs

According to the 1910 Census for Chaves County, New Mexico, Alta Hobbs, age 2, was living with her family:
Henry Hobbs 26 TX
Beck Hobbs 25 TX
Melvin Hobbs 5 TX
Alta Hobbs 2 TX
Mack Haml 26 TX
By 1920, she was living in Wichita Falls, Texas
Henry Hobbs 35 TX
Texana Hobbs 33 TX
Melvin Hobbs 15 TX
Alva Hobbs 12 TX
She married James Dillard Hughes in 1937.
This is all I have on the Hobbs family

I'm wondering if Ann has the name backward, maybe s/b Dallie Dike Fizer? I've added a photo which should indicate.
|Jerry (Chip) Carter||RE: James Anderson|
Hi. All of those Anderson's were buried together so I would assume they were related. If you need more info on each one, I'll try to get a look at the burial records.
|Jerry (Chip) Carter||James Anderson|
Hi. If you turned in the request for James Anderson, I fulfilled it and a few others who were buried with him.
|TheresaReneeTossas||Thank You Much!!!|
The fact that her husband died some over 20 odd years before her, would indicate, that she didn´t re-marry, after the death of a previous husband... as her previous husband, would´ve died... just about the same time that YOUR Mr. James Weems, did.
I thank you, much for your time and assistance, in my quest! Even if it isn´t her... at least, now I know, it isn´t her. ;-) #ProcessOfElimination
