I am more than happy to transfer any memorials that my family is not connected to. |
This is all about connecting families and sharing. I have no reason to keep memorials of people I'm not related to. So please, just ask for your family member to be transferred.
It's nice that editing has been made so easy now, but if you can, please send me info on how I can verify your edits. It takes me a lot of time researching to make sure all the information I am being sent is correct.
For easy transfers, please click on the 'edit' button on the top right of the memorial you would like transferred, then click on 'suggest a correction', ask me to transfer the memorial and please include your member number (which you can find at the top of your profile page next to your display name).
I hope everyone has read the rules about NOT entering names of survivors.
Love this line from the movie 'Personal Effects'...
"It's about waiting for someone to come back, that you know will never come back. About that time spent waiting and the people you meet in the waiting room."
I have met a lot of wonderful people in the waiting room!
Some of our family...

|Pat Kaszubowski - Thomas||RE: Mary Zwolinski|
Her first husband's last name was Zwolinski, and her second husband is Zielinski.
Mary is buried with her first husband.
If I find her second I'll send you ANOTHER edit.
Till then. Have a good day. Pat

Just wanted to thank you for transferring my Aunt Bette's memorial. I really appreciate you adding it so it was available for me to find.

Yes Lady, I sent you a few edits.
Heard that you haven't been doing much.
Just sleeping on the job.
Thank you for the fine job. Pat

I see that you are descended from Columbus Nelson Taylor at some point and his wife Hilda Marie Johnson. They are my great x3 grandparents through there son Raymond. I would like to know how you connect and what information you have on them. Thanks a lot,

|Bob Richardson||RE: William Patchkowski|
Do you happen to have any info on William's parents, Frederick "Fritz" Patchkowski and Louisa Bendich/Bendick/Bender, both presumed to be born in Germany. Thanks!
|Bob Richardson||RE: William Patchkowski|
Sorry, I also have 21 May 1907 as William Patchkowski's birth date. Must have fat-fingered it. I found the record at "Ohio, County Births, 1841-2003," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XDTM-VHY : accessed 12 Jul 2013), William Patchkowski, 1907.
|roger lineberry||Jacob Toliver|
My wife and I were unable to find this grave.
Alleghany records does show a Jacob Toliver
buried in the John Higgins Cemetery which
is about a mile from Crab Creek Cemetery.
I will check to see what the dates are if
I have a picture.
Please advise before I unclaim.
Roger & Martha

Thank you so much for keeping up with me and doing all of the edits. I am sure you have many other things to do also.
Also I really appreciate the transfers.
If you want any back or any memorials in my care I will pass them on.
Than You. Pat
|L. Whyman||RE: Toliver, James and Rebecca|
Visited the cemetery on 5/31/14. Quite the adventure.
Directions: Maybell, CO (on I-40), Colorado state highway 318 for 48 miles to Moffat County Road #114, which has sign for "Lodore Hall". Cemetery and adjoining Lodore School/Hall are now part of Brown's Park National Wildlife Refuge but cemetery is accessible and gravel road in is good. Closest services are back in Maybell.
Walked entire cemetery but sadly did not find Mr. or Mrs. Toliver's headstones. Although, there are a couple of unmarked, old graves, but not next to each other even though there is room, so I don't think it's theirs. US Forest Service manages this historic site and may have more info. Someone had left a map in the info box, but the Tolivers are not listed on it, only the clearly marked graves.
Sorry didn't have more success, but it was a good journey.
Did take several photos of the cemetery. Can email them to you if you're interested.
It is an extremely beautiful, rugged place. The Gates of Lodore, a National Park campground that is part of Dinosaur National Monument and is a favorite river rafting on Yampa River launch point, are nearby.
