I've always had a fascination with cemeteries. Wherever my travels take me I usually end up in a cemetery wondering around. It's always a very calm and relaxing experience no matter how many times I visit the same one. One of my favorites is the Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles. My son and I jokingly call it our second home. It was one of my first destinations when I learned to drive at 16. I'm also fond of Woodlawn Cemetery in Compton, California. It's a bit run down and has a tainted past but I enjoy fulfilling photo requests. I'm here to put together my family so that they will be remembered: Reynolds, Welsh, Brinkerhoff and Alexander. I'm also here to help others find their loved ones. If there is a memorial of a family member you would like photographed, please let me know. I'll try to do my best to make the headstone as presentable as possible. I'll also add a picture or 2 of the surrounding area if you like. I live in Torrance, California and my area is Los Angeles.|

Hi Kim - thank you so very much for the great photos. I really appreciate you tracking them down, marking the grave sites with a flower and taking a photograph. That is awesome.
I have a favor to ask. I am wondering if I could use your photo in a no-fee class at the library I will be teaching in May about using findagrave. Your photo is a perfect example of how to take photos of the site with enough of the surrounding area so relatives can find the correct spot even though there are no markers. Thank you again for your help. Regards, Phyllis
Hi Kim. We haven't seen you around Woodlawn in a long time. Are you still active on this site?

Thank you so much for taking the time to fulfill my request for Grover Clinton Emory. I had hoped that there would have been a marker there.

Thanks for the nice photo! Unfortunately, since he doesn't have a marker it won't resolve our spelling question, but sure appreciate you checking it out!
