Bit by the genealogy bug over 15 years ago, I've made visits to several of my ancestor grave sites over the years. Families include PATTON, LINDSAY, CROCKETT, AULT, BOYD, DROLTE, ROBB, DUNCAN, HARPER.|

|B.J. Waters||PS - re Ralph DiIorio|
I just checked Green Hills' own online database to check on the location of his grave, and interestingly, there is no listing for him. The couple who created his memorial have been given the boot off of Find A Grave, so there is no way of asking them where they got the information. At this point, I am unsure of whether he is actually buried at the location specified on his memorial, or that he is even buried at Green Hills.

Hello. This is just to let you know that I am about to fulfill your request but unfortunately there is no marker. I am curious about this because he is buried in a very nice area that includes "family estates". It is a little area that is semi-private, and has a little bench alongside. There is a granite slab that should be engraved with the surname, and then a flat marker goes on the ground. However, the name is not engraved on the slab, nor is there a flat marker. Maybe the family did not have the extra $$ yet. So the photo shows his grave and it is sure a nice location.
Sorry this was not a more positive outcome.

You're very welcome. The sp. Am. War headstones are so unique. My gggrandfather was a sp. Am war vet also. I actually have his medal that he received after.

Hi Mark, there is no stone in place for Elizabeth.
The Website for the grave information Nygenweb acknowledges her with the following information.
E. Metcalf, wife of John; 1834-1912;
I hope this helps.

I wanted to let you know that there were many stones that were vandalized in the Beulah Cemetery in Colby several years ago. I think that maybe Marge's might have been one of them. Small markers were put up for the ones that couldn't be repaired. It is sad to think that someone would ruin stones. Most of stones that were damaged were in the oldest part of the cemetary. Some over 100 years old. Just wanted you to know this information.
