Bio

I was born September 16, 1945 in Donalsonville, GA. I grew up and went to school there graduating from Seminole County High School in 1963. I also attended college at Columbus State University, Georgia Southern University, University of Tennessee and Georgia State University graduating in 1973 with a BBA and 1974 with an MBA. I briefly worked for the IBM Corporation in 1967 before I was drafted into the U.S. Army in January 1968, spent my first year at Ft. Benning, GA and Ft. Sill, OK and the final year in 1969 I spent in the Republic of Vietnam. After service I spent 40 years working for the IBM Corporation retiring in March of 2007. I met my wife Ellen in 1970, we married in June of 1971 and have one son, Benjamin Ingram who is married to Andrea McKemey with two granddaughters, Hannah and Ellah. I am active in the Montgomery Genealogical Society, having served 2009 and 2010 as President and am now the Treasurer since January 2011. I am also the editor of the MGS Journal a semi annual publication that we put out RE: Genealogy attached in some way to Montgomery, AL and the surrounding area. I enjoy fishing and reading and spending time with family.
