Virtual flowers-Findagrave reminder The virtual flower section is only to be used as a tribute to the deceased. If there are updates to the memorial, please send them via the edit tab on the memorial page. Please also thoroughly check the database before adding memorials so that duplicate memorials are not added. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Wesley Oliver Stearns Please remove the headstone photo you posted to Wesley Oliver Stearns' memorial (# 139426133). You took the photo from another photographer's work on BillionGraves website. Also, it is too small to see the information clearly. We only post headstone photos that we have taken ourselves or have permission to post, in which case we post the photographer's name in the caption. This will be reported if not removed ASAP. I do appreciate your sharing his birth and death place. Info updated.
William "Canada Bill" Jones 139535155 You posted a image on my memorial supposedly that of William Jones. I need to know the source of the image. I wish you to remove it until I am satisfied it is authentic. If you chose not to do so, I will report it to findagrave as abuse. Or otherwise, reset the memorial. He is considered a very famous person and should not be abused. It was commonly known that he never grew facial hair.
RE: Mary E. Slusher FAG #39325838 Fabulous answer with proper references. It gives me confidence that I have her maiden name incorrect from a shaky source. I appreciate you taking the time to give me a thorough answer.
Mary E. Slusher FAG #39325838 I noticed that Mary E. Slusher has been connected to father Asa Wilson Phillips (1838 – 1916 Find A Grave #133587381) and mother Samantha Phillips (1838 – 1897 Find A Grave #39324204). I had Mary E. listed with the maiden name of “Parson” based on an Edmund West, comp., Family Data Collection – Marriages record. My question is whether or not Asa Phillips is a stepfather accounting for a difference in last names or did Mary E. have a marriage to a Parson prior to her marriage to Isaac Monroe Slusher, or should I change her maiden name to “Phillips”?
