I am a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whom loves her family deeply and wants them to know their family History so I am willing to help others do the same.|
I welcome death cert's as families may not know if cancer ect... runs in family and this would be a resource. Also, DAR wants proof like from family bible or death or birth certificates, deeds or wills.
Take nothing but ancestors, leave nothing but records.
I make transfers per FAG Guidelines. This would be your great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
Genealogy is my Past time
I shall not stray
It maketh me to lie down
And examine half-buried tombstones
It leadeth me into still courthouses
It restoreth my Ancestral Knowledge
It leadeth me into the Paths of Census Records
And ships Passenger lists for my names sake
Yes, though I wade through the Shadows of Research Libraries
and Microfilm Readers
I shall fear no Discouragement
For a Strong urge is with me
The curiosity and Motivation
They comfort me
It demandeth preparation of Storage Space
For the Acquisition of Countless Documents
It annointeth my Head with burning Midnight Oil
My family Group sheet runneth over
Surely birth, marriage and death dates
Shall follow me all the Days of my Life
And I shall dwell in the House of a
Family History Seeker Forever. Unknown

Just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgot you on the Vollmer Family. I have been searching and have found quite a bit of information. I have a couple more items to finish and then will try to get it to you. If you have an email you could send it as a suggestion on my great great grandmother, Mary Lou Arey's memorial. I have created a timeline of sorts on the family... I have found all of the Vollmer children, working on the last two.

I saw that as well. Just wanted you to know =)
I've ran across that a lot on here with names varying according to who wrote it down.
|Rae Davis Vogler||Zachariah Abraham Grooms|
I unfortunately don't know to date. I was given lineage information from my great-grandfather Orval Grooms of the entire line back to the boat. Zachariah is my 5th great-grandfather. Papaw Orval has since passed away and was my last link.
|Michael Tomlin||RE: Elmira (Gray) Tomlin|
She is listed in the 1850 Huntington Township, Brown County Census with Thomas Gray born 1817 and Mary (Meyers) Gray born 1816. Elmira's sister, Catherine Gray married James Daniel Howard. Catherine named a daughter Elmira, so I presumed she named it after her sister. Catherine's death certificate lists her parents as Thomas Gray with the mother's last name being Meyers. Elmira and Catherine's brother Rev. Henry Gray has Thomas Gray and Mary Meyers listed as parents on his death certificate.
Thanks for doing all the updates.

my info came from a cousin's earlier notes.
it all needs to be re-researched with the better digital records available now.
Find A Grave contributor Debra Lewis has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Owen Rector.
