I am a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whom loves her family deeply and wants them to know their family History so I am willing to help others do the same.|
I welcome death cert's as families may not know if cancer ect... runs in family and this would be a resource. Also, DAR wants proof like from family bible or death or birth certificates, deeds or wills.
Take nothing but ancestors, leave nothing but records.
I make transfers per FAG Guidelines. This would be your great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
Genealogy is my Past time
I shall not stray
It maketh me to lie down
And examine half-buried tombstones
It leadeth me into still courthouses
It restoreth my Ancestral Knowledge
It leadeth me into the Paths of Census Records
And ships Passenger lists for my names sake
Yes, though I wade through the Shadows of Research Libraries
and Microfilm Readers
I shall fear no Discouragement
For a Strong urge is with me
The curiosity and Motivation
They comfort me
It demandeth preparation of Storage Space
For the Acquisition of Countless Documents
It annointeth my Head with burning Midnight Oil
My family Group sheet runneth over
Surely birth, marriage and death dates
Shall follow me all the Days of my Life
And I shall dwell in the House of a
Family History Seeker Forever. Unknown

Hi Deb, I found my grandparents posted by you at Willow View Cemetary. Here is the info on their 3 children "Robert G. Hastings IV" b. 1928 married Marylyn J. Hakes 1950. Their 2nd child William E. Hastings(1931) who married Millie Anne Harrison 1950. 3rd child Jean (1936)who married Donald Eastridge (around 1955 or 1956) Her grave is at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetary.
You also posted William's info (my Uncle Bill) He and Aunt Millie had 4 children : William, Diane, Douglas, Cathy. His grave is also at Willow View. My Dad (Robert IV) is buried in Pinellas County Florida.
Thank you for the gift of remembering the gift of our family.
Blessings, Ruth Sanders

Thanks much! I will now enter Richard Lee's burial under the names of his parents. Sadly, Richard was the only child Uncle Al had.

So that photo on find a grave is Melvie, Sarah and Jessie? He must have sent a copy to my great-grandfather, as I have the same picture in these old photos I have. I was trying to figure out who it is.

Thanks for all of the work you have done to put people on Find A Grave!
Cora Belle Bradford Norris (memorial #113218861) and James Moore Norris (memorial #113218935) were my husband's maternal great-grandparents. Would you please consider transferring their memorials to me? My Find A Grave number is 48281840.

I appreciate all the info you have provided. Helped me out a lot. I've done family research for years now. Kind of like a treasure hunt. When you find that one missing piece it gets exciting. Thanks!
