Fourth great grandddaughter of Revolutionary War Veteran, Job Sosebee and his wife, Elizabeth Tankersley Sosebee. Second great granddaughter of Jesse and Catherine Akins Fields, Union County, Georgia pioneers. Second great granddaughter of Corp. William Wade Sosebee, a casualty in the Battle of the Wilderness, Spottsylvania County, Virginia, C.S.A. |
I love the memory of those gone before me. I think about their lives, joys and sorrows. I admire the faith that many of them exhibited in the way they conducted themselves here and their hope for tomorrow.
Researching the Fields, Sosebee, Wilson, Curtis, Davis, Jarrard, Lark, Bradley, Adcox, Moore, Poston, Seabolt and Turner lines.

you are welcome
|Thomas||RE: Helen Garrett|
Was Helen buried at the Burris-Eskew cemetery?
I'm unclear on what exactly happen. I was told the graves from the Old Salem Baptist Church Cemetery were relocated to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery but that makes no sense as Ebenezer Baptist Church (the old Salem Baptist Church) has a huge cemetery (which I also went to to look for headstones).
The sign at Salem Baptist Church says "Burriss Cemetery 1840"
The unknowns at Salem are actually from Burriss and are in their own section.

I'm well and thank you for asking. I've started a new job and it's 6 days a week. I try to do Find A Grave stuff on Saturday evening and Sundays. Do you happen to have the obituary that was on her memorial before you deleted yours? I'd be happy to include it on her page. If you would like to manage her memorial, you are welcome to it. Just say so.
Thanks Illa for all your work on the Sosebee family. It is greatly appreciated. I have found all my family now.
|Karyn Buckner Garvin||RE: Ralph Bryant memorial|
I sent a link to the other memorial for Ralph Bryant in edit message I sent you.

re: James Wesley Fields, Sr., Family
Second, are you connected to this particular Fields family?
I can't recall who you are referring to. It appears you are working in Georgia and Alabama. I work for Satterwhite Log Homes. The company has an office in Ellijay, Georgia, and I am frequently in the area.
As I walk cemeteries, Fields is a name I would likely photograph. My only surviving aunt on my paternal side -- Fields was her maiden name, so one of those family names that catch my attention. However, I have not traced her line back beyond here in Texas and adjoining Oklahoma. Maybe someday.

Frank Homer Davis, Hi this is Sandy Jessica Bramblett's mother. I was just wondering if you are related to Frank? If not would you please consider transferring his memorial to me. My parents, husband and I have been friends with Frank for over 25 years. Thank you in advance and happy genealogy!
|Jennifer Davis||Earl Dean Bradley and Mary Elizabeth Adcock Bradley|
If you don't mind me asking, are you any kin to Earl And Mary Bradley. If not then would you be kind enough to turn their memorial over to me. They are my great great great grandparents. If you are related to them, then it is nice to meet you and now I am able to get more info added to my family tree.
