My name is Lynne (maiden name) Carpenter. Several years ago I started putting together some of my family history. My parents were still alive when I started, so my Mother was able to provide me with a lot of information. She passed away in 2008, my father had previously passed, and that's when I started looking again. I discovered Find A Grave and am now looking into finding the graves of my relatives. I inherited several old photos, from both parents, left to me after the death of my Mother. My Mothers maiden name was Della Lovell and her Mother's name was Anna Jacob (maiden name), and Father William Lovell. She was born in Cabery, Illinois. My Father's name was Jack Finwall Carpenter, born in Kankakee, his father Alpha Carpenter (son of Simpson and Mary Jane Carpenter) was from Indiana, and his Mother Esther Finwall from Norway. I've learned so much in such a short time and am very interested in learning much more. I've been trying to match up as many pictures as I can with the graves.
