Thanks Liane,
The grave listed is that of my Sister. My mother was looking forward to her birth as we all were, sadly she was stillborn. So we never got to know or see her. My mother would have named her Gretchen.

Re: the email you send for corrections for Agnes Gordon's name. The headstone does have Agnes O. Gordon, your message indicated it was Agnes G. Gordon. Just want to clarify which is correct?

I appreciate your entering such complete inf. for this family which allowed me to connect the family members for whom I had little facts. This was a huge help. I was able to correct an error on another person's entry in this family also. Bless you & your work in this area. Barb

RE: Unnamed Cemetery
Thank you so very much for your help Liane. I haven't physically been out to the cemetery. However, they showed a couple of the headstones on the news this morning and I was able to read the last names; I probably could read more from the looks of it, but they flashed by too quickly on the screen. Believe it or not, the news reporter had contacted the county and they didn't have any names for that burial ground or cemetery. The woman who lives there said to be careful of the holes in the ground that appear to be where former headstones were located. She said that some of the headstones are leaning against trees, but it is very clear to see the mounds. The county is guessing it was privately owned land at one time, and either someone let a church use it for burials, or it was a family plot. Because of time, of course they didn't get into it that much. The headstones were over grown, and just revealed. I am going to go personally to the county and library and check this out for myself, and at least find out who would have owned the land around the time the burials took place. Thank you so very much for the suggestions and advice. I will definitely contact findagrave and ask about needing a name and GPS. The lady who lives there is excited about helping others locate their lost loved ones; but only to the point where they don't come tromping through her property. Liane, you are so very awesome, and also very helpful, not just now but all of the time. I will make sure I take a camera with us when we go; he he, as well as gardening tools to ensure we get them all. She told me that she thinks there are about 40 to 50 graves there that she knows of. I will keep in touch and let you know how it goes. Again thank you so very much for your help and encouragement.

Unnamed Cemetery
Hi Liane and all who might be able to help me. The past couple of days the news here in Atlanta, GA has been running a story about an abandoned cemetery being discovered out back of a viewers property, along an easement. I had been long overgrown, and the woman who lives in this house had no idea the cemetery was just outside her fence, and neither did the utility people who discovered headstones when they were clearing the brush. The news station was asking people to contact them if they knew the people who could be buried there.

I probably should have contacted all of you before contacting the owner of the house these graves are behind. There is no public access to this cemetery, and there is no name for this cemetery, as it was long forgotten, until recently unearthed. I have never contributed to this site before, so I am going blindly here. #1 Is it okay for me to add people to findagrave.com if I have never been a contributor before? #2 Do the people in these graves need to be related to me, in order for me to be able to record them? #3 If there is no public access to this abandoned cemetery, can I list these graves with no cemetery name or address? The reason I am asking the last question is due to the fact, that I have obtained permission from the owner of the property to park at her house, but also enter the area to her graves via her back yard. I promised her if I did this that there would be no identifiable location information to avoid people trespassing on her property. Now all of this being asked of you, is it okay if I still record and post these graves on this Web Site? Any and all information and help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. The property owner told me that some of the headstones have early 1800's for dates on them. They could possibly be from an old family cemetery or an abandoned church cemetery. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

# 106607222 Clark Hedberg
Hi Liane,
My grandmother scrapbooked her entire life. I've been going through her books and found hundreds of obituaries of people she knew from the Kenmare/Minot ND area. I'm sending Clark's on the SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTION OR ADDITION link. If you would attach it to his memorial, that would be great.
Thanks much,
Nancy Zeltinger Austin
