RE: James Chard
I found 1 sister in the LaRue cemetery and connected them. Also Ruth Augenstein in GC cemetery, who might be the other sister. Do you know when she was born?

RE: Chard Family; Marion Co., Ohio
Sorry, but Susan Burnot was the first spouse of William Chard Jr. Not the wife of William Chard Sr. We believe she is buried in the old Sandusky Cemetery as there is a Mrs. William Chard buried there. The license for William and Susan Burnot clearly shows it is Jr. not SR. You can email me at jochardhenry@att.net. Jo

The only info we have is that his father was William Chard and his mother was Susannah (?). Since James was born in Pennsylvania we feel William and Susannah were probably married there but we can't find a marriage and have no idea what her maiden name is. I do know she was in charge of his estate when he died which indicates she could read and write and that made me wonder if she was a Quaker but I could not find that either. She is buried in Steuben County Indiana but there is no marker for her and no birth or death date. According to the obit. for her son, Levi she is buried next to him. His sisters, Elizabeth and Susannah both married more than once and Margaret died rather young. Am not sure I could give you any dates on this stuff as I am bad about not putting stuff into my tree maker. Jo

I'm sorry, when I attempt to transfer management it states contributor ID 30792855 is not valid. Is this the correct number?

Thanks for adding the pictures. Clyde is the husband of a distant cousin so if you would like I'd be happy to transfer the memorial to you.
