I got the geneaology bug a year ago when I set out to map the family tree for my children. By the time I completed this task I was hooked. I have received information from relatives and strangers alike. I am trying to link as many family members as I can. All help is greatly appreciated.
Any photos or information I use can be copied or used in your own research.
RE: Day Markers You're welcome The cemetery isn't large and since it was a nice sunny day I searched for all the ones on my list and found not one. Pretty area, on a hill beside a very nice stone meeting house in Priceville MD
Phyllis' husband doesn't have a memorial most likely because he isn't deceased yet. In this cemetery, except for very rare instances, the husband and wife always share the same headstone. When the first spouse passes, if it's the veteran who passes first, only their name is placed on the stone. In the case of the non-veteran spouse passing first, reference is made to the veteran spouse, such as on Phyllis' stone, but only by name. After the 2nd spouse passes, a new stone is ordered with both names and both sets of dates.
Since there are no dates listed for Joe Delk, it means he's still alive.
