I was born on a farm 2 1/2 miles south of Mineola, Iowa. I went to high school in Glenwood and college at Blair, NE Dana College. I was in the Marines for four years and taught school at Milford, Iowa, Missouri Valley, Iowa and at the P.M.I.C. unit in Glenwood, Iowa. I retired and moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada in 2008.
