Genealogy and cemeteries are my hobbies. It started about 4 years ago when I was researching my relatives. I found that I had a great number of relatives that I did not even know about. It has been a very worthwhile endeavor. I have found and talked to some of my relatives that are still living. I found Find A Grave almost 2 years ago and found it was not only useful but helpful in tracing
my relatives. I was able to find many of the cemeteries and Grave Markers for my relatives. I will try my best with photo requests to find that relative for you and take a photo. I will also do transfers of memorials for people I have created on Find A Grave, if a family wants to do more editing.

I am soooo sorry. I must have been out of my mind. I did not pick up on the fact that your guy is BENJAMIN - not BERNARD. Please forgive me. I sometimes do genealogy for 12 hours a day and my brain gets confused, which it clearly was. I don't know how I missed that the names were not the same.

RE: Bernard Joseph Lammers
It is interesting that both Bernard Joseph Lammers have the same birth and death dates, same burial locations but different parents and spouses. My Bernard Joseph Lammers had only one son, Eugene E Lammers who died in 1988. My Bernard's wife moved back to Nebraska and is buried there. Pauline T. Walz Lammers. I have Bernard's WWI draft registration card and WWII draft registration card. The birth dates are the same as yours. Mine was born in Hartington to Frank and Anna Willenbring Lammers. And I have the marriage record of him marrying Pauline T. Walz. Tis a mystery to me. I'll break down and buy the death certificate from the county of Los Angeles. I'll also send for the obit for his wife in Nebraska. I've sent away for countless obits.

Ronald V Volmer
When we took the photo for Ronald V, we also did the GPS, and we are sure the manager will add it into the plot. When she does, you can click on the GPS, wait for Google maps to load, switch to photo, and zoom in to see tiny tombstones and even "move" around the cemetery and surrounding area

RE: Lois Lula Ann Fletcher Cushman
You are so welcome. I hope FindaGrave does respond quickly to your e-mail. It would be a shame to lose that wonderful picture, but on the other hand, it really gets messy with links if there are duplicate memorials around. Also, it is best to have only one memorial per person :)

RE: Little Dean Cushman Rosehill
If you previously asked the manager of the duplicate to remove the memorial (and add the family photo to the original memorial) and she refused, then you can ask FindaGrave to merge the memorials. That way the family photo and the grave photo will stay with the earlier memorial. I did ask the manager of the dupe to remove hers, but I only did this today--Find prefers we wait a few weeks before ringing them in.

Little Dean Cushman Rosehill
Hello,
We took a No Stone Visible photo (flower in empty space between his parent Tom and Mamie). There were some very old graves for Spikers in this country cemetery--that is how the cemetery may have been called back in 1923 when little Dean passed away. There was no record, however, of any Dean Cushman in the cemetery directory. The other thing is that while some of the fanciest stones are for babies, there are many babies who perhaps had a wooden cross at one time, but today nothing is left. Hope this is of help.

John R. 'Jack' Lowe
Hi, Robert,

I believe that your memorials #109859899 for Jack Lowe, and memorial #109860507 for John R. Lowe are for the same person, John R. 'Jack' Lowe, who was married to Ruth Harriet Drain.

Best Regards,
Lezlie Clemons (acybersleuth)
