Genealogy and cemeteries are my hobbies. It started about 4 years ago when I was researching my relatives. I found that I had a great number of relatives that I did not even know about. It has been a very worthwhile endeavor. I have found and talked to some of my relatives that are still living. I found Find A Grave almost 2 years ago and found it was not only useful but helpful in tracing
my relatives. I was able to find many of the cemeteries and Grave Markers for my relatives. I will try my best with photo requests to find that relative for you and take a photo. I will also do transfers of memorials for people I have created on Find A Grave, if a family wants to do more editing.

RE: St Boniface Cemetery Photos
I can't seem to find anything on the Armstrongs. I tried to find their obits online, but didn't have any luck. Maybe I just missed finding their stones. There is no directory so you just have to walk the entire cemetery. Easy to miss one sometimes. If you want to contact CPR and get a response please let me know what they say. I probably won't get back down there until next year now.

You're very welcome! You have requests for the Armstrongs stones also, but I have been unable to find them. Are you sure that they are buried there?

RE: St Michael Cemetery Photos
Hi Robert,

I haven't been up to St Michael's in West Point for quite some time. Since there are so many requests, maybe I will try to make it up there before the weather turns bad. - Bill

RE: St Michael Cemetery Photos
Sorry to say, we are no longer in the area to fulfill your photo requests. We were only in West Point for one weekend for a Hughes family reunion. We had an extra day there, so decided to fulfill some Find A Grave requests.
Wish we lived closer so we could be of help to you and your ancestors.

RE: Thornton Scribner
We have absolutely no information at all on Thornton Scribner except for what you placed on his memorial in FindAGrave. I checked and verified that he died in Spokane, but there are no burial records for him in Ancestry. I am suspecting that he is buried in a cemetery over in Spokane but that no one who is entering information in FindAGrave has worked his cemetery. Or, perhaps he was cremated and his ashes dispersed. All we know for certain is that he is not buried at Island Lake Cemetery. Their records go back 100 years and he is not in their records at all.

I wish you luck.

I am soooo sorry. I must have been out of my mind. I did not pick up on the fact that your guy is BENJAMIN - not BERNARD. Please forgive me. I sometimes do genealogy for 12 hours a day and my brain gets confused, which it clearly was. I don't know how I missed that the names were not the same.
