Bio

I was born in 1965 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada
I went to Simi Valley, California, USA in 1986 with my employers (who were moving there) and I met the boy next door (who just happened to have been born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada in 1963).

6 months later we were married in a little chapel in Beverly Hills, California, USA. My whole family laughed saying I had to go 3000 miles to meet and marry another Canadian. We had 2 children, born in Canoga Park, California USA

We later moved to Post Falls, Idaho, USA and then to Bothell, Washington, USA. We now live in Marysville, Washington, USA.

I started my genealogy in 2000, taking it up where my mother and grandmother left off before me. I've learned a lot in 20 years and so much has changed in 20 years that I continue to learn. I love working on my family history and I love helping others with their family history.

Now that I am retired, I can spend more time on my research but being 3000 miles from where my family settled still brings lots of challenges.
