Bio

I have been involved in Genealogical research for over 35 years. I teach beginning Genealogy Classes. I also do research for clients as contracted. I lived in Northern Illinois and my hometown of Rockford, Winnebago Co, Illinois had one of the largest Swedish settlements outside of Sweden. My Grand Parents were Swedish and I am a Lifetime Member of the Swedish Historical Society of Rockford. I have made many trips to Sweden to expand my research. I also have German ancestry and of course my research for myself and others throughout the United States in extensive. I do research almost daily. I also portray historical figures and doing Mourning Presentations, (dressed as a widow in black dress and veils )to local groups and for Cemetery walks. Making history interesting and exciting is something I feel very passionate about. I also want to honor those who have gone before us.
