Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been taking pictures since I was a child. I started out using my Mom's old box camera. I used her old Brownie camera for awhile too. In 1990, I bought a Pentax K 1000 then when my grandson graduated high school, I bought a digital camera. I still have the Pentax & get it out once in awhile to take pictures. It's a good camera & I can do a few things with it that I haven't mastered with the digital.

I love taking pictures (got that from my Dad). In recent years, my hands are not as steady so I don't take as many pictures as I used to. I tell people that's why I take photos of headstones - they don't move around, you don't have to pose them, etc. LOL! Flowers are a good subject too!

Anyway, retirement & taking pictures are a good match! I also do genealogy, paint-by-numbers, volunteer at my church - I keep busy which is good. Have a good one!

RE: Anders Johan Johnson grave
He may be listed as Lewis Johnson, so the Lars that you got with Johnanna may be the correct person. Thanks again he died in 1921, just as the photo shows. Thanks gj

RE: photo of Johanna Johnson grave
Thanks again for all your help, I am home bound or I might have drove up to Iowa and got them myself, so you don't know how much this helps. Gustaf and Oscar were my grandfathers brothers, I didn't know he even had any brothers until an aunt died and I got some church records of their births, so now I have photos of their gravestones which is a great bonus to my genealogy work, thanks again, gj

Thank you very much for this photo, in the same plot did you also see stones for Oscar Johnson, Gustaf Johnson, and Anders Johan Johnson, supposedly they were all to be buried in the same plot 208. Thanks again for your assistance with this photo, bless you now and always. gail j.
