|Michael Ophoven||Ophoven Family|
Bev, I am a young member of the Ophoven family. Thank you so much for the information you have put on here. My parents never talked much about where they came from, it is awesome seeing this. I do have information on more Ophoven family members that are not on here.

I have sent an obituary I found in our collection thinking you might want to add some of the details to your bio on her memorial. I am with the Genealogical Society and this is my project for now. Barbara Bromm

|Diane (Funkhouser) Hough||RE: Mary Funkhouser Ewing|
I have a lot of information I got from a book put together by Freida Funkhouser Wilson. My father was Earl Frederick Funkhouser, his father was Preston Leroy Funkhouser, his father, John Calvin Funkhouser from Carmi, IL.
I could run you a report from Family Tree Maker and send via email, if you are able to do the same and share with me.
Find A Grave has been very helpful and we appreciate all the kind people who will transfer relatives and share information. Feel free to send me a personal email any time outside of Find A Grave if you prefer. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am searching for the father of my 3x great grandmother, Mary Louise Ewing Walker and I believe your James Ewing is him! She is likely the "daughter Mary Walker" listed in his will. The information I have for her says she was born in Wayne Co, IL in 1820 and then married her husband, John M Walker in 1839, and they lived and died in Rock Island Co, IL. She died in 1902 and her husband died in 1906.
Mary Walker's find a grave memorial number is: 76882750
John M. Walker's memorial number is: 76882601
I have just started researching this branch of my family and I will let you know what I find. Thank you for your notes about James.
