Bio

I'm a native of the great state of Alabama, historian and conservator.

If you need advice, please contact me or another cemetery and/or monuments conservator. There are plenty of safe, non-destructive methods to read illegible markers and to care for damaged ones than can be used by the novice. If in doubt, ask!

I'm happy to do photo requests, let me know the location and I will see what I can do.

I am also happy to share photographs, documents and research. Contact me if you have or need additional information, photographs or the archival sources for any of the memorials I manage. Usually, it is too long a list to cite sources in the memorial.

If you have queries or questions or corrections, please do contact me: life is too short to be wrong!

However, I ask that if you use my photographs PLEASE provide credit and list the details, e.g. name, date and location. These are my photographs and I take pains to provide names, locations and approximate dates for future interest.

Thank you!
