Bio

I'm not sure how I happened upon it, but I discovered "Find A Grave" in April 2012. I am a hobby genealogist and a neophyte at that.

In the fall of 2008, by chance, I came into possession of two family photos from the early 1900's, one from each side of our family. I have always sensed this discovery was more than coincidence, perhaps a nudge that I should pay attention to. Since then, I have found this "hobby" takes me in many directions. Branches of our family have been reacquainted and we have come to know family that we had never met.

"Find A Grave" takes me on still another path and allows me to help others with similar interests. I grew up in a Funeral Home and have always been intrigued with cemeteries. I'm fortunate to have a husband who shares my curiosity and often accompanies me on graveyard excursions.
