Until 2010 I only knew what other family members had occasionally shared about my ancestry. When we moved to a rural area of Texas I found myself surrounded by many amateur genealogists, and I developed my own taste for researching the past. A newly found cousin told me about FindAGrave and I have found it to be a very special resource in finding my family. I especially enjoy the photos that I have found here, and some are now helping me identify photos from my grandfather's cigar box!
At this point my health does not permit me to travel far without assistance so I am an armchair participant in this past time.
