Born in Perry County, KY, I've lived in Ohio, Delaware, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia, mostly while on duty with the U.S Air Force.
After teaching for 25 years in Fayette County, KY, I retired and lived in Pulaski County, KY for nearly seven years. When my wife's health began to decline, we moved to Perry County in 2006.
Although I enjoy genealogy in general, my main focus is on the "Civil" War era. I have learned during recent years that I have many, MANY ancestors who took part in that conflict, and that the vast majority of them were Confederates.
