I am a retired elementary teacher and I enjoy meeting people, volunteering at our local hospital and genealogy. |
I visit cemeteries often and I help my father with his work at our family, now public cemetery..Maple Grove Cemetery in Marathon County, WI. Most of our family is buried there. We have information on all of the deceased buried there.
I enjoy helping others with their family trees since I was given a great amount of information from people to assist me in my tree.
We visit certain cemeteries frequently, so I would be able to assist people with photos of the headstones.

I do not see Edward Beneke on your request list, although it was added by LMM.
If he was your photo request, I also took a photo of the cemetery records for him. If you would like that, contact me here and let me know how I should send it.

|LindyLu||Re: Christian Brandt 70661591 photo request|
Per the memorial:
Death: May 7, 1894
im Alter von 62 Jahre"
If he died at the age of 62 then that makes his birth year 1832 and not the same Christian you're looking for apparently. Sorry-

|History Bug||Zion Updates|
Thanks again. Feel free to keep updates from the Zion Church records coming. I'm sure many will appreciate being able to see what's in such locally held records that are not readily accessible.

|Barbara Orlando||Arlyle Brandt Kriehn|
On your page for Ulrika Borchardt Brandt you state you are trying to connect with Arlyle. She married Elmer Kriehn and they are buried in Boulder Junction WI. I have been working on the genealogy of her son Bob Kriehn. I will be traveling there next week and will go to the cemetery and photograph their tombstones. Realda is also buried there.

Thank you...corrected better late then never :)
|Edith Lueke||RE: Helke - Garske, Pine Grove|
I don't live in Wausau, but my Great Grandfather, Charles Garske, and his siblings Wilhelm, Ludwig (Louis - husband of Marie Helke) and August are ALL buried there. I have photos of some of the Garskes from there, including of Wilhelm's house, in front of which my Grandmother and two uncles (as children) are standing - back in perhaps the time when Charles was buried there...
Of course, descending from these four brothers are their wives and many of their children, most at Pine Grove.
I visited there one day last summer; would have liked to visit longer.

Thanks for your hard work Lynn. Yes Ray an Arley are William's sons and I will certainly accept them if you want to transfer.
|Joseph Edward Merle||RE: Anna Voigt|
Yes, you have taken care of all the info I had to offer including the link to Robert. I hope that the information I passed onto you about her husband and 2 of her children, was helpful to you.
