I am a retired elementary teacher and I enjoy meeting people, volunteering at our local hospital and genealogy.
I visit cemeteries often and I help my father with his work at our family, now public cemetery..Maple Grove Cemetery in Marathon County, WI. Most of our family is buried there. We have information on all of the deceased buried there.
I enjoy helping others with their family trees since I was given a great amount of information from people to assist me in my tree.
We visit certain cemeteries frequently, so I would be able to assist people with photos of the headstones.
You may use my photos, BUT PLEASE GIVE ME CREDIT FOR TAKING THE PHOTOS, when you do use them or post them, a simple statement like, "Thanks LMM for taking the photo" will at least be an acknowledgement. Thanks. :) Lynn Maier
RE: Mathie, Frank I also took photos of 7 other Mathies in the same area. They do not have memorials. If you want I can give you the names and dates so you can make memorials for them. I have Frank's wife too. Just let me know what you want to do. Thanks!
RE: Berlin Cemetery I made mine while doing some work at Marathon Co. Historical Society in Wausau. They have a plot book in the genealogy room. I did not get very far through the book before we moved from the area, my place marker may still be in there. It was a red hard cover book.
Alfred Genrich Correction Hi Lynn, I agree that Lydia Genrich (1894-?) was Alfred's sister, not his child. I have her place in the family pretty well documented in my family tree.
I don't know how the error happened. But, I can not correct. The contributor who manages Lydia's memorial #36425397 has to remove the incorrect parent link. Then link her with her correct parents Daniel Genrich (1865-1950) and Edna (Zahn) Genrich (1871-1920) who are also in St. Johns/Maine cemetery. You need to contact him.
I really appreciate all your efforts and care. We should compare trees sometime. We must overlap somewhere. Happy Holidays! -Lynn Rusch (aka, History Bug)
Carl Augustus Albrecht. You are related to my daughter-in-law. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Carl Augustus Albrecht through his son Ferdinand Ludwig Wilhelm Albrecht and Ferdinand's daughter, Wilhelmina Alma (Albrecht)Poppen Roth.
Anna's Husband Robert (#62110706) re-married after her passing in about 1904 to Ernestine (nee???). They are buried in Merrill Memorial Park, Merrill, WI. Of their 7 children; I was only able to find Otto (#62110669) also in Merrill Memorial Park together with his wife, son Lester and daughter-in-law Pearl. I suspect the possibility that their oldest son Paul is also in Merrill where he died at the age of 100 in 1991.
Although I am not related to the Voigt's, Thank You for responding to my request. Hopefully it will be of help to others in the future.
I have request a link to Anna from the party managing Robert but, so far no response. You could do it yourself as manager of Anna'a Memorial.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
Albert & Fredericka Goetsch Hi Lynn, One of Albert & Fredericka Goetsch's sons is missing in the list children. His name was Carl Julius Heinrich Goetsch (Goetsch family #57). His 2nd wife Louise, was my wife Beverly's grandmother. Albert & Fredericka Goetsch are buried at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friedrich Zahn Thanks for the info. about others from Reichenwalde. It all helps. Actually, it's Friedrich's wife I'm most interested in. She could be one of my GG Grandfather's half-siblings. Her birth name was Rusch, and she and Friedrich lived on the neighboring farm in the Town of Maine. Happy searching!
Alice Crochiere Hi, Well finally getting out to the cemeteries. I found Alice and also Orville so will put their photos on their memorials. Alice's memorial # is 33506968. I also took a photo of William J. 'Bill' Crochiere which was right next to them. His birth date is 6/26/1973 and death date is 7/29/1994. If you make a memorial for him let me know and I will put the photo on it. Have a great day! Lori
