|Nadeen Sobottka||Maxon family @ Forest Home Cem., Milw., WI|
Hi, I was notified by a fellow Find A Grave member that there are memorials created for Maxon family members in MN. Were you aware that those possibly may be a cenotaph and that the burials are actually at Forest Home? The memorials that I created, I did not delete, but rather gave reference to the cenotaph numbers in their memorials. The four individuals buried at Forest Home are: Glenway Maxon (1851-1929); Amabel Horner Maxon (1863-1936); Harriet Maxon Thayer (1889-1984) and Joseph Horner Maxon (1890-1895). There are two people who have a cenotaph in MN but are not buried in Milw., and those would be Glenway Maxon Jr. (1892-1972) and Frances Moroney Maxon (1892-1980). Do you know if they are actually buried in MN or WI? Regards, Nadeen
I was only able to ask the office for one location lookup, so I asked for his, hoping it would be a family plot, but it seems he is buried in a single-burial plot section. If you have any information on Clara's gravesite location, post it to her memorial and I'll look for it the next time I'm out there. :)

You might want to contact Forest Home Cemetery for specific lot locations first, this cemetery is HUGE and photo volunteers would need that information to fulfill a photo request. The office won't let volunteers ask for too many location lookups, so it's best if you could supply that yourself. You can call the cemetery office or email Nely at Nelsisg@foresthomecemetery(dot)com - add birth/death dates and any maiden names if you have the info.

Not a problem, I know how it is, real life takes over. Would you mind transferring Anna Wendelborn (111144731) to me also?
Thank you so much.

I had left a couple of suggestions for updates to William and John Wendelborn several weeks ago and have not had a reply or seen the updates. I was wondering if you would mind transferring the following people to me:
John Wendelborn - 111150257
William Wendelborn - 111145028
Thank You ever so much.

You're right, the first name is Aaron. If this is your relative, I'd be happy to transfer him to you

Yes ,you are very welcome, And sorry for the late reply. I was especially happy to do this one, I learned a lot from this. Horace donated the land for the cemetery. He is mentioned on the sign at the front gate. also found the graves of a local tavern owner and his wife which his son is still running the catering end of the business, (tavern is closed up).
Thanks, Greg Rust

Hi again. I think I may have found Horace Haner's Memorial field stone. I Have pictures. I checked it out as closely as possible and It appears I can make out H,O,R. on the stone ,It's weathered and I Think it was at one time standing up and now it's laying down with flat side up and with engraving on what is now the top. I would think this is it.Should I post it?
