Born in NJ, brought up in Maine, now living in MN. An avid genealogist, I love helping people find relatives! Researching Bryant, White, Roth and Lawless. Direct descendant of Palmer Tingley who came to Mass Bay in 1635.
I am also researching my husband's family names of Solberg and Drawz.
I am also researching my brother in law's family names of Allison and Love.
RE: Ammon Glidden - Evergreen Cemetery You're welcome :) Did you know there were other Gliddens buried next to him - relatives. They weren't in this system so I added them in case you are interested...
Glidden, Miriam C 161461016
Glidden, PVT Otis A 161460726
Snow, Payson W, Jr 161461337 Miriam's son I believe - he's buried next to her although they use a slightly different spelling for her first name
RE: Tingley Family Hi Lisa, just finished reading your blog. Very interesting and funny. Yep, I will never forget doing that cemetery. Was a hard one to get to but was glad to find it. Glad I was able to help. Helena
Another mystery solved (although you probably didn't know it was one)!. Although her death record indicates that she was buried in the Valley Cemetery, she was not. She was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery where her husband was later interred. At that time, Valley was a more "upscale" cemetery. Valley was older and much smaller and likely all of the available plots were already sold. Pine Grove had only been open for a while but was much larger (180 acres) so they had more room for "public" burials. The sections are called Public Grounds. She was buried 2 days after her death and she is only 6 graves away from Henry. Please fix her cemetery burial to properly identify it as Pine Grove. I've already posted a S.A.C. to add her plot information.
