Bio

For the most part I am into Find A Grave in a small way and generally post only people who have a personal or family connection.

One exception is most of the postings for Woodville Catholic Cemetery (also known as St.Mary's Woodville Cemetery). The primary source for Woodville Catholic Cemetery is the book Woodville Twp. Cemeteries published by Sandusky County Kin Hunters, Fremont, Ohio. The other source for burials in Woodville Catholic Cemetery is the records of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa, Ohio.

It is possible that some of the graves in Woodville Catholic Cemetery have been moved to other cemeteries over the years. Also, many stones in this cemetery are broken and others are not readable. Some burials may have never been marked with grave stones. I will be happy to make corrections.

The memorials I have posted for the Garwood Cemetery are based partly on a list that came down through my husband's family. That list was probably compiled by some of his Garwood relatives. They are also based partly on a newspaper article from Meadville, PA titled "First Settler, Shermansville Planner Buried at Garwood Cemetery," by Emily R. Smith. The name of the paper and the date of the article were not copied with the rest of the article.

If you wish me to transfer a memorial to you, simply put in a request. Please ask me to make corrections using the "Edit" feature. I do my best to be as accurate as possible.
