Lived in OKC most of my life, happily married with six kids. Teach special education in the public schools. Genealogical interests are Laird-Valega-Kane-Blackman-Hawkins at the moment. I appreciate all that the volunteer photographers on this site do, taken a few pictures myself. This includes creating the memorial pages. However, I don't understand why some contributors will not release a memorial for management purposes to a family member of any relation. Often times a relative asking for the transfer of rights to a memorial page certainly has more rights than just someone out photographing anything and everything, with no connection to the majority of the people they created the memorial. Doesn't make sense to me. Do not believe that management rights should be limited when it comes to a relative wanting to take over the memorial page.|

I didn't mean yours was the duplicate. I was actually referring to the other ones. I was just meaning they had burial info and thought you would like to update yours and eventually the dupes would be caught and deleted. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Maybe he was cremated and his ashes interred here later? This info is from the Nationwide Gravesite Locator. Maybe it's a cenotaph or just some sort of memorial..not an actual grave. I know the locator is pretty up to date and will put a name on the website once a headstone is placed on a veteran's final resting place.

Thank you for posting his memorial. Without it I would have never been able to say Goodbye to the best friend I ever had.
Sincerely Jeff LaFleur

I have a photo of Cynthia Lee's marker. If you request it, I will post it.

Thank you so much for the picture of this old soldier's grave. I will use it to register his grave on the In Death Not Divided registry of Civil war soldiers at the East Tennessee History Center.

You are exactly right-my fat fingers got in the way. Thanks for the edit-change made.
