Bio

I was born in Los Angeles, California. I moved to Orange County when I was 12. I was California's first certified pharmacy technician. It took me 30 years to get my AA. I retired 11 years ago. That was when I started my family history research. I had only met my father a couple of times before he died and knew nothing about his side of my family. Ancestry.com and Find-a-Grave have helped me find family members. I am looking forward to meeting some of them.

I am working on my Native American Indian heritage. I have/had family members who are/were Tuckabatchee, Cherokee, and Creek.

Specifically I am looking for my maternal great grandmother, Norma Lucas, and my paternal great grandmother, Isabella Anderson from Ireland.

Update: I found Granny Izzie, her siblings and her mother since Ireland has opened more of their records. I am still looking for information about Norma Lucas and her father, Allen.

I am now in OK researching family history.
