|Kelleigh Bryant||Family History|
Hello, my name is Kelleigh Bryant, My grandfather was H.A. Bryant Sr.(Slats) I am his first and only granddaughter. I have been searching for years for family history on his side for the family. I hope some one can give me some light on this search. I have very little info, just what has been told to me through out my life. My father is H.A. Bryant Jr. (Butch) I have 1 brother John Alan Bryant and 1 half brother John William Bryant. To date there are 6 great grandchildren. I was told by my grandfather I was a reincarnation of my great grandmother as I was born exactly 2 years to the day she passed. I have always felt a very strong connection to the past with this side of the family. I try to piece it all together but there are many gaps. If anyone has any books or anything with a family tree and/or history I would be so very happy to get a copy. I will also appreciate any info. Since my grandfather passing I have acquired a lot of papers and pictures and info, I have yet to get through much of it. I am also in close contact with my grandmother his second wife Donna Cook Bryant. She is a wealth of information also since finding a lot of stored papers. Thank you, and I looked forward to learning more.
|L. B.||Effie Watson|
Your confused. I am too. I have been checking out and find Effie with a Robert Cordwell in 1915 Census, 1910 they had no children and 1920 she is a widow. I think there is 2 Effie Watson. I find an obit for a Effie Watson in Osborne Co. Farmer 3-17-1960 Pg. 4 listing husband as Robert Watson.
I am still trying to clear up this mess. E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

I checked my sources which are papers I picked up years ago. They read 1909. I am trying to clean up my files. I am going to transfer George to you.

Thank you for attempting to find him. I see on the website, a record was found and that we may never find his grave. Take care & thanks for helping others in their searches.

Just want to let you know, I only know of possibly 3 Catholic cemeteries in Taylor. There is St Mary's and Our Lady of Guadalupe. I don't know of one that's just named "Catholic" Cemetery. I think the Taylor City Cemetery has a Catholic section. If there is one, I'll be more than happy to get the photo for you if you'll give me directions to it.

I saw your flowers and was wondering how you know my aunt, Faye Johnson Bryant. I called her Tedo and was not aware that she had other relatives.
Hi Terry: I thought the Valentine flowers were very pretty. Good choice. Chris

Hi Terry: That's great that you were able to find a photo of your grandfather. I searched ancestry and was able to look at the photo. Now as to flowers. I went to Santa Ana Cemetery's office today. They suggested that you use the Fairhaven Memorial Park Florist. Fairhaven and Santa Ana Cemeteries actually adjoin each other. They said that Fairhaven will bring the flowers to their office, get the location, and place the flowers on the grave. Santa Ana removes their flowers from graves on Wednesday, so you might want to have the flowers placed on that grave on Thursday or Friday.
Then I went to the florist office at Fairhaven Memorial park. They said they do take online orders or phone orders. Their web address is: www.fairhavenmemorial.com. Once on the site, click on Flower Shop. They don't have a wide selection, but I thought what they had were extremely well priced. If you click on Grave Placements under the Flower Shop, I think there are a couple there that are quite nice. The Valentine (could be just to express love), the Easter one is a nice springtime arrangmen, or if he served in WWI the Memorial Day one is nice and for $35 seem extremely reasonable for flowers out here. Their phone number is 714-633-5471 as for Flower Shop.
Hope this helps. Chris
