My Find-A-Grave Area of Concentration:
Marion County, South Carolina
I also occasionally branch out into Dillon, Horry, and Florence Counties.
My research/surname/location interest:
Green in Lakeland, Florida and Horry County, SC
Roberts, Phillips, Gable, Gentry in AL, GA, etc.
Randolph in Alabama
My name is Angie!
I am a mom to three great kids...ages 24, 19, and 17. When I am not with them I enjoy researching my family tree or photographing headstones for find-a-grave.
I like to photograph entire cemeteries not just one or two headstones. I love the smaller cemeteries (less than 100) but I have photographed larger cemeteries (over 3000)in its entirety. I have photographed the entire Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion County, SC and mapped out which sextion each person is in. I have also photographed the entire Cederdale Cemetery in Marion County, SC.
I think photographing entire cemeteries helps fellow researchers connect family that they may have not known about.
I love to pass memorials on to family members so just let me know if you would like a transfer via the edit button. Note: I will not transfer my family members or ancestors to anyone I do not have a known family relationship with.
I am human and to err is human. If you see where I have made an error , please use the edit button and KINDLY let me know where I have erred. I will fix it within 24 hours. If it is not fixed within 24 hours then please create a memorial for me because I am likely dead.
You may use my photos as part of your research, family tree, etc in any non-profitable way you like. However, if you find some fool willing to pay for the photos, I want my 50%!
If you know where a cemetery is that has not been photographed and is off the beaten path in my area, let me know. I love an adventure!!!

Hi there. Thanks so much for adding a memorial for my great-great grandfather James Perkins (138447638). Just wondering, how did you know he was there? I learned from a relative that the marker for his grave, and that of his wife, father, and mother have been missing from the cemetery for quite some time. I plan to get a new marker installed but haven't been able to talk with the caretaker of the cemetery yet, so I'm wondering if his burial is in the cemetery's records - and if so, why the others' aren't. If he's not a relative of yours as well, I would also love to have the memorial transferred to me so I can easily update it.

Flowers Cemetery on findagrave is described as being in Marion County, but when I look at the map, it's shown near Plantersville, which would be Georgetown County I believe? I used memorial 63476719 as a reference so it would be easy to search for the cemetery.
It appears you took photographs here. I figured you knew where the cemetery was and may know if it's in Marion County or Georgetown County.

Angie, would you take a look at Flowers Cemetery map. Memorial 63476719 is in this cemetery. The map doesn't look like it's right. Doesn't look like it's in Marion County for one thing. I've tried to use the map information given for this cemetery but can't get a good point on it.
Here's what the description states:
Going South 41 Below Centenary, turn Left onto Hwy 908, Go 2.8 mi and turn L onto Cribb Road, which becomes Aubrey Road (dirt). Go 1.1 mile and turn left just before the house onto a dirt road with no name. Cemetery is 1/10 of a mile ahead at end of road. Do you think the map that's posted on this cemetery is correct?

Hope life has been good for you since June. What was the source for William's month and date of birth? I had not come across it.
|Charles Green||Family Relations|
In Devotion Gardens, a Charles L. Green Jr is interred. He is my great-grandfather, there is also a Phillip Wayne Green, my grandfather. I am requesting that you add that to the calculated relations. My great uncle, Larry Alan Green passed in Feb. 2015 and he was a son of CLG Jr and the brother of PWG. I am requesting that you could add a memorial, if possible.
Charles L. Green IV
