I have lived in the Detroit Area my whole life. Researching my family tree brought me to Find A Grave and I am fascinated by many of the stories I have read here.

Thank you very much for taking the time and photo for me.
These men are fallen but will never be forgotten.

RE: Grace Cobb
Hi Chris, there's not really been enough maintenance around this cemetery, sadly. We missed Grace the first time because her stone was dusty/dirty. We did also get Louis Cobb near her. Hope that helps.

Burton Janson
Hi Chris, Just found your memorial, apparently this is one of my great uncles. I currently have memorials for siblings Walter Janson d 1915 and Harriet Anna Jason d 1915, apparently all 3 children died from Diphtheria within days of each other 15 June, 10 June and 5 June. I was wondering if you minded if I took over your memorial, unless of course this is part of your family?
Thank you

Gravestone Photo Permission

I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestones of Joseph Jewell and his wife Mary in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (Memorial# 12124522).

I would like to add these gravestone photos to my Ancestry family tree, with this included in the Description field: "Taken by Find A Grave contributor Chris M (or your full name if you prefer) - used with permission." Is that OK?

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pam Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

Hi Chris, from Social Security Index the last name is spelled with an "e" instead of an "a." Great job by the way!

I beg your pardon. I had forgotten that.

photo of Leroy Wenz garve

Thanks for posting the photo, but it seems that the posted photo should be posted on the memorial for Leroy Wenz, rather than Irene Buyse Wenz. Would you mind correcting that?
