Bio

I currently live in Oak Orchard, Millsboro, Delaware. I have been wanting to learn more about my family for many years but just didn't have the time to do this. Now that I do have the time I spend hours on my tree. I have learned so much about my ancestors. I just wish I took the time sooner. There is nothing like it.

I joined Ancestry March 2012. My tree is growing pretty fast.In 4 months I have just under 2500 ancestors on my tree. I have branched out doing both sides of my family. My mothers side is Italian. Having somewhat of a hard time because I can't read the Italian records. I actually put my mother in contact with her great aunt that she thought was deceased. From doing that I found cousins I didn't know I had from PA. They even came to our family reunion this year. I hope to find other living relatives also. My fathers side is going pretty smooth.

You know you just don't realize how much you have until you start packing to move. It is the same with this. You never know just how big your family is. My family now contains the names - Coulbourn, Eskridge, Cannons, Wheatley's, Ward, Calvert, Williams & many more.

I have found that many of the small cemeteries are either hiding or being moved. I have been going to cemeteries to take pictures so if anyone needs help with that here in Sussex County let me know. I will do my best to locate them. I have done Cokesbury in MD, Jones & Carey's in DE, & a few others. I hope my work will help others find family. I will be going to the cemeteries in Wilmington DE probably in Oct. if not sooner.
I am willing to help others with genealogy, if I can. I am always looking for more information about various families. I am willing to share any data I have with others looking. If you write, try to include something about geneaology or graves so I know it is not spam.
