I became interested in my family's history a few years ago. It has only been within the past couple of years that I have actually been able to pick up where my aunt left off. |
I was really excited when I found Find-A-Grave. I think it is a wonderful way to connect and remember those who are no longer with us on this earth.
I am researching Robison/Robinson, Benton, Purgahn, and Borgschulte families.
When requesting a transfer, PLEASE give your relationship to the person for which you are requesting the transfer. I honor most requests, but want to know how you are related. Please send these requests through the edit tab under "other suggestions".
If you would like to use any marker photos that I have taken, please feel free to copy them from the full size picture here on Find-A-Grave. My only request is that you list any pertinent info with the photo to help others.
Any family photos I have posted on Find-A-Grave are usually already in Ancestry.com and are not to be copied from Find-a-Grave for any reason. I have added information to the pictures I have posted and get severely irritated when someone copies it and doesn't bother to copy the information. The information is obviously there for a reason.

Okay I had heard about 6 months for the round to settle. Again thank you for all you do!

No not all I was just curious. I know her permanent marker has been ordered so it would be great if you could update her site with her new picture when it is available. I was actually very happy to see her when I searched. Thank you for all you do!!!!

Hello, just curious about the "find a grave" for Alexis Boyer. I don't want this to sound offensive at all but do you know the family? Just curious on how you decide to make a memorial for someone? I know/knew her and her family and just happened to search and it came up. Just curious. Thank you!!

Until such time as a grave marker is installed and can be photographed, the last name on the memorial should be the last name of the deceased. Only the last name at the time of death ... all other names are *previous married names* - not current last names.
However, the issue is now moot. You declined this edit a week ago. I have since forwarded the edit to management and they will make the appropriate change to the memorial.

Thanks so much for your information input on the Eugene Ohlms Memorial. I am new at this and the only way to learn is for others to catch a mistake. I hope I have made the correction that you requested and I hope it is right. If not, be sure to contact me. Thanks, Mary

Hello, I updated the photo on my Uncle's memorial and requested if you could delete the old photo some time back. I noticed I failed to leave my Uncle's memorial number. It is 140663682.
Thanks, Joe Lerch
Thank you very much for transfering Scott Smith and William and Francis Smith to me. I appreciate all of your help.

Thank you so very much. I promise to care for her site with the same love she gave to my grandmother.
