Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in my family's history a few years ago. It has only been within the past couple of years that I have actually been able to pick up where my aunt left off.

I was really excited when I found Find-A-Grave. I think it is a wonderful way to connect and remember those who are no longer with us on this earth.

I am researching Robison/Robinson, Benton, Purgahn, and Borgschulte families.

James Crews -my faulty memorial

C. Robison,

Hello.

Thank you for pointing-out that James Crews has gravemarker in the Old Cruze Cemetery. I had him erroneously buried in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Knoxville.

I have deleted that memorial.

I appreciate you letting me know the situation with James, as I do want to be as accurate as possible. And I have no problem changing data or even deleting memorials I have set-up to make things more accurate.

In this case, I had made James' memorial four years before the second one was set-up. However, since I did not find-the-grave, (and Chris Hammond did), then I certainly did not find his grave, and deserve no credit for doing so.

And that being the case I most gladly deleted the memorial I had set-up for him. Chris Hammond gets the honors. #:^)

Well, thank you again, C. Robison.
I hope all is going well with 'You & Yours'.

Best Wishes,
Terry ♣

A member on Ancestry.com has a photo posted of his marker. In the description they have the cemetery listed as Old Cruze Cemetery, Knoxville, TN. It is a military marker for James Madison Crews. The dates are the same as what you have listed.

My apology for rejecting the edit. Looking a little deeper, I have found that you are right, her name was "George".
Working on it now.

RE: duplicates eliminated
Guess I hit some good luck. The contributor contacted me and allowed me to do the deletions. A lot easier than contacting Find A Grave.

RE: Emma Williams Jarrett
She was married at Bloomfield, IA. Iowa marriage records require name of parents. It lists her father Joseph and mother Margaret Poulson. Margaret was also Joseph's second wife and 16 years younger than he.
