I recently started Genealogy after my father's death. I realized if I don't start keeping track of the family I won't have anything left! I'm most interested in the Oertel Family from Weesenstein, Germany. My father was the 11th child that came to the USA with his mother in 1923. His mother's maiden name was Schwalbe. I still have cousins in Dresden, Heidenau, and Oberlungswitz.

In the meantime I enjoy helping others get reunited with their family's past and since I've always like photography this site is a perfect match for me!
